Yep.
I hope the anon from the other thread was right about the assays still being on the way.
Even though the assays could just make things worse, I'm going to wait this one out.
I'm down WAY too much money to sell now
If it drops much lower over the next 2 weeks I may even think about buying more, with the little money I do have left
>>1825931
I'm with you. I'm not jumping ship now. God I wish they'd just release the assays.
Is it time to buy?
>>1844802
I don't know. Is your tank empty?
>>1844802
Those fucks raised the price of gas by 6 cents right before I had to fill up. I fucking hate them

Somebody who reads 2-3 books per week please redpill me.
I've read enough books to notice that you basically glean one real point from each book, something that could've been summarized in a paragraph or sentence which is then multiplied to hundreds of pages. So how can you find that point as quickly as possible without missing it?
Are there some methods I'm supposed to be using, like reading only the opening and closing paragraphs of chapters?
Or are you just skimming for things that catch your interest, or for things in the table of contents?
Or are you actually reading every word of the book, like with Readsy or something?
>>1844783
the red pill is to take the romantic imagination you have about books away (like youre trying to)
you gotta find ways what work for you.
I'm using Voice Dream reader for almost everything and I worked myself up to 550 wpm
so in theory I could go trough tolstoy war and peace in around 10 hours
How To Read A Book by Mortimer Adler. Thank me later
I hate those self-help-self-employed-internet-business-gurus talking about how many books they read per week. Fast reading. Audiobooks. Reading only interesting chapters.
Just read it.
If it is non-fiction do your research, take notes, google the events/names mentioned in the book (if it is a biography for example), get a calculator and test the advice given, compare the advice to other books and what other experts say. Take your time to fully understand what you are reading.
If it is fiction enjoy it. Read and enjoy the story.

Simple. Read reviews/book notes by different people. For example this guy here: https://sivers.org/book
There is also countless YouTube channels that do book reviews, for example that guy: https://www.youtube.com/user/phuckmediocrity
How does spending time on 4chan help you get you closer to your goals exactly?
>>1844596
it doesn't. we're fucked
>>1844596
>How does spending time on 4chan help you get you closer to your goals exactly?
By distracting me from the never ending misery I face on a day to day basis.
>>1844605
What's the misery you face?
>last week overhear one of the directors say to the other that I'm "invaluable"
>this week one of my dev friends tells me "anon, as a friend... work your ass off for the next two weeks"
>Neither of them have any reason to lie
I don't know what the FUCK is going on
>>1844517
That means they're watching you to see if you're worth promoting.
>>1844517
We don't even know what the fuck you're talking about.
We don't know anymore than you do.
But whenever job seems unstable as rule of thumb be a tip top employee until all is good

pls help I am financially inept
suck 18000 dicks for 10 dollars a piece divided into weekends. so, simply put, in 1040 days you only have to suck around 17 dicks per day of the weekend. If you can do that, you can live your life better off than you did before.
>>1844331
you will also save a lot on food
Your opinion of CHD for holding long term stock?
Decent company, seen some good gains over the last 10 years, products are necessity so will always have business.
Not the highest dividend yield but seems like a very good bet for holding long term.
Why do charts like that scare me
>>1844338
CHD Moon landing in 25 years.

Why doesn't he buy a bank lol
Pay cut
>>1844267
He has the backing of the Federal Reserve and has been called on to bail out multiple banks during the past few financial crises. Technically speaking, he owns a few banks.
Are banks even good investments
Why aren't record stores more prevalent since its such a profitable business. I mean, all you have to do is win a few auctions on Ebay of lots of records and resell them. You practically buy them for cents and resell it for about $3. Sure it sounds too good to be true but I don't see a single downside to this.
>>1844206
A lot more is required for a business to be successful than I can buy x and sell it for more than I bought it for.
>>1844206
Because most people don't want records.
Total newfag on everything finance. The idea was mentioned to me by a friend and he asked I do some research into it and if I found anything he'd be willing to dump some cash in. How do I go about pursuing this kind of information.
>>1844198
I had $300 that I dont care if I lose, so I opened an individual brokerage account as my "Speculative" account and built a portfolio of 5 or 6 pharma/marijuana penny stocks. If they all go to zero, oh well. Im hoping they will pop one day down the road.
Just google search, there are a lot of websites that research these marijuana companies and give reports
>>1844204
Thanks is there anyone in particular worth mentioning?
