Until you're breaking out all over your face that it leaves permanent splotch marks and craters, and look like a young teen boy hitting the age of 15, it's not that bad. Also, wearing make-up twice a week is still wearing make-up. Foundation is the first thing that clogs up the pores, because it directly adheres to your skin and doesn't let it breathe for hours on end.

Secondly, pimples sometimes just happen. Ingrown hair follicles, some foods, or something different introduced to the environment (new pillow/pillowcase, fabric softener, etc). Most people don't give a shit about them because everyone has them at one point or another. Adult acne is still a thing.

It just sounds like you have low confidence, just like my ex did.

Are you familiar with sports terminology? This combination shows you as a "High floor, low ceiling" academic prospect. You'll probably do well wherever you go to school but you're probably not smart enough to do anything notable, especially at more difficult universities.

That being said, there is much more that goes into college admissions than grades and test scores. If you are an "underrepresented" minority your chances are great with your numbers.

As for overall advice, the best thing you can do is take the ACT/SAT again. I'd study hard and take the SAT if I were you, if you do well you don't even need to send the ACT score to schools.

If you are a female, I would suggest you put on your applications you are interested in a STEM/hard science major. Schools are constantly trying to hit this demographic and you can just switch over to whatever major you want when you get in. Good luck, if you have any other question's I'd be glad to help.

Do not teach her swearing. I think you should avoid it when she's near you. She's really young and have a limited vocabulary, she'll start to use curse words to express herself and that's kinda bad for her intellectual/academic development.

explain to her that the words themselves are not bad, but its how they are used, so she shouldn't be afraid to ask about what certain words are or what they mean, and that she can always come to you if she has any questions.

id even go as far as to tell her that its okay for her to swear and use those words when taling to you but no one else, that way it can get out of her system.

You shouldn't have set the example to begin with, she doesn't have a point of reference now for how to come up with better, more insightful descriptions of things.
