I look after her so much but she doesn't see anything special in us anymore. I think she's staying with me because she needs me but also she wants freedom and youth again.
Besides sex everything is fine until she's really drunk and then she turns hypercritical and talks about splitting up only to take it all back the next day. It got to a head when I caught her flirting with some random stranger outside the bar we were in last night.

1. Try and be a better husband and somehow change her thoughts and behaviour?
2. Call it a day and take your chances with a new life, find a nice girl young enough to start a family with in a few years time?

That was my thinking. No counselling of any kind yet. She's anxious about doctors so avoided getting treatment for anxiety since she first went as a kid.
