My friend stole a rolex from a kid at school and it ended up in my hands. We don't know if it's real or fake but I was thinking of taking it to a pawn shop and selling it. Should I?

Hey /adv/. I might just be in a weird headspace, but I've started to realize I don't know how ready I or we are for long-term commitment... We're both 25 and been together for 2 years. Couple reasons:

1. I feel very sexually closed up since I grew up here (thx guys) and have some random weird kinks I've been trying to work up the courage to talk to her about. I don't know why, but I'm very shy about sex. This is... annoying, since I'm a fairly horny guy and I feel pretty frustrated in that regard. It's mostly a me problem, but she's put by some of my weeb tendencies and I just don't know where to start or how to tackle it since I got half this shit from hentai. (mind you if she starts getting all "gross, you find THIS hot? [does it]" then it's best-case scenario but I digress)

2. We don't fight a lot, but when we do, it's every few months when her anxiety flares up. She has a short, angry meltdown and I have to talk her off a ledge for our relationship, after which she often feels bad and realizes it was a bit much. As much as I love her, it's very grating and stressful, especially if there's anything unresolved and we have to leave it for a day. I've told her I probably can't be in the relationship for the rest of my life but I don't know what that line even is of "too much" of the fighting. I don't blame her for all of it or anything, but they get heated if she's really ticked. She's never hit me or anything, but once she kicked a chair once.

3. She's talking about children a lot offhand, and... I don't know how I feel about it. I'm sure I'd like having them in some regard, but I don't think I'll be ready to even propose let alone get married within the next 2 years... I have this gut feeling I'd be a happier adult without kids, but I have no idea. I hate restraints on my life, I'm freewheeling to a fault.

Have you guys ever pondered or felt these in your life? What conclusions did you come to?

Is it okay to address negative opinions about the company during a job interview?

Backstory: in the past few months my current job has turned into churning out piles of documents on the subject I give zero shits about. I started looking for something else. I usually read opinions about the companies I'm applying to, but sometimes I forget to do it.

Today I got a call from an interesting employer - one that I've not researched prior to sending my CV - and was invited for an interview. The job description sounds appealing and the location is okay. However, a brief search of the net revealed that the company is known over legal forums for their rather unethical sales system. It's legal, but abuses the "small letter policy" and the fact that people tend to tl;dr just as you are probably doing right now.

I am apprehensive about having such practices linked to my name and career and do not want to scam people. However, my current boss and his fucking entourage of executive shits are unorganised, dumb as bricks, abusive and manipulative and each day of touching butts with people on a crowded bus to sit and work on investment fund budgeting for 10 fucking hours makes me want to jump onto train tracks more and more.

I'm 18, i already have my driver license, and i haven't made my way to college yet (but i'm planning to)

I live in a very shitty city with my parents and my brother. I've always wanted to move to a bigger city we lived in the past (like 3.000km from here), but my parents said i shouldn't even think about this unless i go to the college to get a bachelor in medicine (not on my plans, thanks).

However as i'm 18 now i feel like i should have control over my life. I want to go live in my old city and get a job until i go to college there. The hardest thing would be to find a place to live, however i already got that: my aunt told me to go live with her if i'm really sure about this all. She's the kindest person i've ever knew and she told me she would let me live there even if my parents disapprove this and get angry at her. I would find a job as soon as arrive and live with her, my uncle and my cousin (wich is my best friend desu, we still maintain contact everyday through facebook and games)

Should i go and get in control of my life? Should i tell my parents? (They'll surely freak out and try to stop me but they can't do nothing bc of my age)

I want to leave this place because there's nothing to do here, nothing to work at, and i have some problems with my parents (my father works really, he owns a company, but he arrives drunk at home everyday. My mother is overprotective and i can't even cross the road without telling her)

(I'm going to visit my aunt anyway at the end of the year. I've already bought the tickets. I'm planning to go and don't come back, then tell them)

How to be productive, organized and efficient.

I'm killing myself because I can't get enough done to a high enough standard daily and it's affecting my social life now because I'm pulled down by the thought that I have so many things to do and things can't get better until I finish more things.

Later this year, the family had planned to go out to the UK for my dad's 60th birthday (we have the same birthday), go to an NFL game, and I'd pretty much split off and hang with my friends who live over there.

But my mom is afraid of terrorism over there and now refuses to go. How do I change her mind?

Alternatively, where are some non-US places that are "safe?" I don't watch Fox News all day like she does, so I don't know what people like her will consider a reasonable risk.

I want to hear your stories because I am struggling to do this. I have failed at no porn consistently for 4 months straight (going back after a week or 2) and I just fucked up again today. I cant jerk it without porn any more. I need to hear from other people that they were able to get out of this too.

How long did it take for results?
Did you no fap/reduce fapping? I think No fap is a meme though.

I have no other problems in life at the moment. This is the ONLY thing causing me problems so it isn't caused by stress. I have gotten my T levels checked too, I am normal physically.

Hey /adv/ my work place boss, sent out an email this morning at 8:30 , saying my shift had to work today at 11 despite our scheduled off day this was mentioned in last weeks meeting (only thing mentioned was a mailer weekend, not that everyone had to work. here is the issues
1. I'm not being lazy, I work a shit ton of hours I'm scheduled 210 hours this month, not including all the overtime I'm gonna accrue throughout it
2.He's a huge dick to everyone(he's the head of his department) he's ambitious which is admirable but he is condescending and treats us like shit no matter how good our performance is

TL;DR I pretend not to see email and use a solid alibi should I record the conversation by iPhone app, to use as possible evidence if he completely shits on me or suspends/fire me and what legal implications for recording someone without consent. Also general advice

Ok /adv/, I'm very nervous as fuck right now. It's a long green text but I'll try my best to keep it short:
>Work in a wage cuck job
>Always come in on time, never have been late or call out
>Walk to work early but take the bus back home because my car broke down a months ago and can't afford to repair it
>Clock in five minutes early everyday due to the fact that I come early all the time (company says you can clock in only 5 minutes early before your scheduled work shift)
>The bus I catch leaves right at 3:30 but my shift also ends at 3:30 so I clock out at 3:25 because it takes me a couple of minutes to even get to the stop or I miss the bus and have to wait another hour o catch it again at 4:30
>I've told some supervisors months back that I go early and why months back, they are fine with it so I do it for two weeks
>Figured Human Resources would have been told as they haven't brought it to me ever (been doing it for months and the times are on my time card so they can see it)
>Today I was about to clock out at 3:25 like I always do
>Assistant manager stops me and asks me what I'm doing
>Explain to her what I've told the supervisors
>"Anon, did you get authorization for this"
>Told her I've mentioned it before
>Says that doesn't count but she said "we'll talk about it tommarow"

So adv, I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow but I'm hoping they'll either just approve it or just give me a slap on the wrist and I'll just clock out at 3:30 for now on but due to the fact that I've done this consistently for months im hoping this is grounds for them to fire me even though ive always show up on time and haven't done anything serious or go awol, am I screwed?

I work as a chef in a university and recently a woman who I make omelettes for every morning has been calling me "dad" as kind of a joke because I remind her of how her dad cooks. I am confident she is joking but I actually do like her.

I am 24 and she is 22 so it's not like I am a geezer or whatever. The issue is I don't know if she is flirting or just friendly joking.

She also has a boyfriend all ready... so I have no idea why calls me daddy while waiting for an omelette.

What would you do?

I want to be a full-time musician, get my band touring, selling merch and albums and all that. I'd rather work on my music and build up my band's brand than go to uni and pay money to learn some shit that I don't really care about.

Trouble is, my parents don't support me and say I'm not welcome to stay with them if I don't go to uni. What jobs should I do and where should I live until I finish enough songs to be independent? Also, how do I deal with feeling like a failure to my parents? 17 and in Year 12 btw, sorry for being underage.

Ok, guys, there's a woman in my life, and long story short, she spent a year or more being a meth-head and opioid addict. She says she got clean all on her own and has been clean for years.

Well, I love her and we've been seeing each other, but lately she's been asking me for money. Not much, but it's been accelerating. Now she tells me her old drug dealer showed up to her house demanding a bunch of money and she is asking me for the money. I tried talking to her about it, but if the conversation doesn't involve me giving her money, she gets upset, angry, and defensive.

At this point, is there any chance she is actually clean? I mean seriously? Is it me or is this pretty much 100% an indication that not only is she not clean, but she's still buying and using just in secret?

What the fuck can I do other than give her money to keep her from getting her arms broken or something?
