Yes. I didn't think it was very good, even for its time. I'd rather play Yie-Ar Kung Fu; even if it wasn't as pretty, at least it felt more responsive and fluid.

For Atari i recommend you to get a 7800 or an Atari computer. The 7800 has better video output and is backwards compatible with the 2600. And Atari computers have all the 2600/5200 catalog plus their own exclusives games. The best one probably is the XEGS because is compatible with RCA connection.

What's your local shop like /vr/?
Mine actually isn't awful. I live in a very rural area so it's the only thing of its caliber nearby. They have a huge selection, and they have TVs and consoles set up around the store so you can actually test the stuff before you buy it. They also clean carts and resurface discs for free, and their prices are usually a few bucks cheaper than eBay, but it varies on the game it seems.
Anyone have places that sell for way cheap? Watching episodes of Game Chasers makes me absurdly jealous

Every N64 game in the bin is madden. I never cared for madden, but after looking through 50 copies that smug confused look on his face was perfect. Just the reaction to the final game also being fucking madden.
Everything worth a damn is behind glass. They offer shit trade in value. The guys who work there are all smug assholes who think they know about games. Anything worth a damn is eBay priced and behind glass. I checked their facebook page the other day and they're looking for a new employee so it seems like the turnaround is high as fuck too.

By the way, on my previous topic of genre bending Half-Life total conversion mods, I forgot to mention Master Sword. It's a RPG, like a full on autistic DnD spreadsheet type RPG, and NPCs can understand certain player texts. The character saves aren't even client side, they are saved on their master server and carry between servers. You're welcome.

Dad had a video store when I was younger, they would cut the front and back off the boxes, glue them together and use it for a display
Some pretty good stuff in here, but useless and stupid since they're all cut the fuck up.
Thinking of cutting these apart, maybe outline some characters and making a cool little retro collage to frame.
Can anyone else think of a better use for these? Currently downsizing my collection and they are taking up space.
