The Machanicus, on one planet using only 1% of it's ground level surface area for manufacture (remember, we're not building up or down here, and we could because lol Hives), should easily be able to make enough of one type of tank for 4 million men.

In his defense, Dexterity, Agility, Grace, whatever is often a really awesome stat and Strength often a really shit stat.

Summer of freshman year and I still wasn't too bothered about him (the stuff above hadn't happen yet), so me and some mutual friends invited him to a DnD game since we new he played and he has anger issues, so he probably would've gotten salty if we didn't invite him. We meet up, and he shows up with a liter of coke, and a literal cardboard box with like 20 bags of Doritos. I'm not kidding. It's nice and all that he brought them, but after five seconds his hands are sticky and orange, and the smell of Doritos and saliva makes me want to die. Now we get to the game. He immediately makes a female character called a "Concubus" that is a mix of a half elf and a succubus that bases all of its abilities off of charm and charisma and… some other things. We were concerned, but we didn't bother with it too badly at the time because we didn't wanna bother the issue and we weren't sure how long he would stay. His character instantly proved to be cancerous, and he did and threatened to do many horrible things to several different NPC and player characters. Luckily enough he left soon after, but not after we realized that he enjoyed sexual and bdsm role play… the PTSD is getting a bit much for me right now, so I'll have to take a break, but expect more...

Well, it used to be because elves are skewed towards being a Mary Sue race. Then half the board started liking elves, and now we just perpetuate the meme on the basis that half of us are team Dwarf, other half team Elf, and arguing without really arguing is fun. It's one of the few recurring threads I don't mind on the basis that it's just the fans mirroring the classic feud between Dwarves and Elves.

Anyway, to answer your question, it's a meme based mostly on /tg/ being more akin to dwarves, IE neckbearded asocials who dwell underground. Dwarves hate elves, thus, /tg/ hates elves.

There are a bunch of other reasons, like elves generally being prissy faggots or arrogant asshats or what have you, but for the most part it's just a play on the classic Elves vs Dwarves dichotomy.

Dwarf Fortress was a significant influence, wherein the elves will come to your Fortress every now and again, demand that you stop cutting down trees, give you an extremely harsh limit on how many trees you -could- cut down, get offended if you attempt to trade anything made of wood or wood products with them, and then send stealthy armies to attack you with shitty wooden weapons and armour, who inevitably got locked in a room and submerged in magma until deep fried.

Honestly, I like almost everything here. The implementation, animations, and aesthetics are all excellently orky. The voice acting sounds really off, however. In particular, Gorgutz sounds more like a boy than a warboss. I imagine this is something we'll be able to fix with mods, however.
