many planets/planetoids have some raw material in great quantity, but there arent many planets that have it all, so trade would be the lifeblood of their society
some places are rich in ice, so they could trade water for all the other things they need but cant find on their tiny corner of the solar system

d20 systems attempting to do things which aren't heroic fantasy almost always fucking suck. And given that Pathfinder is kinda shitty at the best of times, I have every expectation that Starfinder is going to be a crock of shite.

If I'm wrong, I will be extremely happy. Maybe Paizo will use their experience with PF to make it a better game and adapt it to the theme, but I don't think cynicism is unjustified given their history and the lingering horrors of the OGL.

right now, so there's that.
i'm thinking about a separate skill tree just for the spheres, capped by an extra called Arete. and Paradox would be a separate stress track. when trying to cast a spell, they roll for the highest sphere rank involved.

Waaagh is still a psychic phenomenon. And SoS are supposed to nullify those.

My guess would still be no tho, since, as proven in "Master of Mankind", sisiter's null power can be overcome by sheer numbers of warp creatures. And since Waaagh effect is only achieved via overwhelming numbers it is either a case of not being able to counter it not having anything to counter at all.

I suppose some sort of scribe or clerk? I could see myself working in some kind of mythic telegraph shop that uses Sending to communicate over long distances, helping people get their messages under 25 words (or at least, to as few Sendings as possible). Or a file clerk at the adventurer's guild, keeping track of what quests have been done, which ones still need to be assigned, who'd be well-suited to what. Though as I'm writing these out I'm realizing "comically clumsy" comes baked right into the job description, and I'm not comically clumsy, so I may not be qualified.

Until recently I worked in retail, which I guess would translate to shopkeeper.
