Im trying, no bully edition
A place to share the fluff and stories of your regiments/legions/chapter/whatever, be it 40k or Fantasy. Be creative, dont be a bitch and remember to have fun!
I'm still working on the fluff here, but I've been building a heavily mechanized Genestealer cult. Using as much of those cadian hybrids as I can and, for the others, using some Scion bodies just with the genestealer heads and hands.
The fluff being that they're a cult set up on a world that's entirely devoting to pumping out guard and their various pieces of hardware. The cult has set itself up as a sort of masons group for "soldiers with potential" and all that jazz. They're not incredibly public yet, but they manage to sneak some proper genestealers onto the shipments off planet.

Well I've been looking at the fall of Cadia book and that new everything and the kitchen sink formation, and it makes me really really want to run Sisters and Tempestus scions with Inquisition and fluff them up as a Crusade. Do them all in the same red and white paint scheme. Maybe throw in a Knight.
I just think making a crusade would be fun, fluff it as one sent to deal with Tau and Nids (since those are what my buddies play).
Still kind of in the deciding stage though. For me right now the problem is the sisters. I found a conversion i like and i want to do it, but im afraid of them being no good when the official models come out.
Hope this is my dudesy enough,

That sir is down right diabolical. Would gladly give up a settlement or two trying to root you out.

Care to elaborate?
As your question is too vague, here are some good, somewhat /tg/ related games: Planescape: Torment, Xcom, Dawn of War, Fallout, Dwarf Fortress, Darkest Dungeon, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, Baldur's Gate, Diablo, EYE: Divine Cybermancy, Dark Souls, Heroes of Might and Magic, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Skyrim, Sunless Sea.
It's taken...longer than we'd hoped, but the 1.3 edition of Adeptus Evangelion Borderline has finally been released.
It's got a whole shitload of changes we've been making over this time, most importantly having angelgen in the pdf instead of in a googledoc on the channel on irc.
The new version can be found at http://www.mediafire.com/file/42qb8e35jiea0o8/vBorderline_13.pdf
Also, AdEva thread
Actually, I'm wondering if I can upload it here directly...
We've also got a bunch of resources here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wX11RS2zRxTKV6lm16MBMOT6_0nSHcKUCFg7eSHQWRE/edit?usp=sharing
Yay for an AdEva project that's still alive.
Shame about the ill-conceived v3.
First for best girl.

So, do any onf your remember the eld'wani from last time? Let us expand on that. They are split into three factions, a normal, okay kind of one. Batshit insane religious eld'wani who capture and do a body transfer to get more people, and of course the extra rare hedonists.
Don't forget to vote for the archive threads on suptg !
Another thread! Great!

Added that summary to the Wiki! :D
Lets see what else has been going on...
Jeah Laffu are cool, Eld'wani are kinda fun as an example of what kind of weird shit can be at the Forbidden Isles. The other Beastmen should just be beastmen and leave it at that..
Lets just say that the Mole-men is another nickname for goblins (and inaccurate one at that and call it a day on them).

Awesome!
Undead Thread Edition
>What is /awg/?
A thread to talk about minis and games which fall between the cracks. /hwg/ doesn't entertain fantasy (for good reason) and the other threads are locked to very specific games, so this thread isn't tied to a game, or a genre, lets talk about fun wargames.
Any scale, any genre, any company, any minis. Skirmishers welcome. Rules designers welcome.
>Examples of games that qualify
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_miniature_wargames
Mighty Armies, Dragon Rampant, Of Gods and Mortals, Frostgrave, Hordes of the Things, Songs of Blades and Heroes, Freebooter's Fate, Dark Age and anything that doesn't necessarily have a dedicated thread (gorkamundheim).

unlikely. You didn't even put the title in, so nobody is gonna find it.
>>51346467
Yeah, I just managed to find it with 'find in page' but it could have been easier to find for the normals
Its been a while since I've seen any games with interesting takes on undead.
Has anyone tried SeaKrieg 5? I'm told it is THE naval tabletop wargame for big gun battleship battles, and everything else up to 1945.
But it is expensive as hell, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it?
It would be Naval Admiral, not Naval General.
Get your shit together OP.
>>51325220
Pretty sure it's SeeKrieg 5 as well.

Will physical card games survive the online card game invasion?
>literally 61% of CCG players are digital now
>earned almost twice as much
>yet, we still got the terrible Magic:Online client
"Digital collectible card games (CCGs) will earn $1.4B in 2017E. Digital players account for 61% of the CCG audience thanks to digital CCGs’ greater accessibility than their physical counterparts."
>>51475955
Source: https://www.superdataresearch.com/market-data/digital-card-games/
As long as there are people who want to hold physical cards.
>>51475955
Maybe?
That's not really a suoer-relevant statistic to bring up, though, since digital card games aren't competing with real card games, they're competing with other vidya and mobile games.

>>51473722
Your descriptions (especially the first and second) are very endearing.
That's pretty much how you make a 'good' shopkeep. A shopkeep is a 'tool' for the PCs to use, so if you want to make the memorable all you need is a name and a quirk. That keeps them sticking around in the PC's heads, and if they choose to keep interacting with the shopkeep you can give him/her a backstory.
For starters you have to make him/her an appealing but flat character. Enthousiastic loli who just earned her first shiny penny is enough of a quirk to work.
I heard that wood elves got shota maids. Is that true? What other goods they got?

So it's only those then. Wasn't sure if you guys were inbred or not. Thanks for confirming.
>>51473560
warhammer's wood elves used to kidnap newborn and young humans from around their forest to instruct them in the magical arts and return them back as damsels for the cult of the lady and/or become squires and servants in their timeless homes or get eaten by forest spirits, no, not the lewd kind of eating
