I feel the same way but I also think if honest like minded people would work together it would be a lot easier to accomplish a goal. the problem is everyones goal is looking out for themselves. maybe figure out a way to pool little amounts of money and find someone who knows about investing and then make money. of course we would have to fool proof this plan somehow in order to keep everyones investment secure and avoid the person stealing it. throw ideas around guys. maybe we should start a discord or something?

Yes, I do this to. Unless I verbalize a thought it's just floating by and not yet "real". As soon as I verbalize it, I take possession of it i.e. accept it as my own. Often I even say it out loud to make it more real, that is when I have a realization of some sort.

I wouldn't see it as a negative, it's just a way of organizing things in more and less important.

Interesting, for me it doesn't really make a difference whether I verbalize it or not, its instantly accepted as my own - which was an issue for me because I have OCD my whole life but didn't realize it till later in high school so when an intrusive thought or image popped up, it would produce discomfort and anxiety and cause me to analyze and examine why I would even have such a thought etc, because I would immediately think of it as my own, the concept of your thoughts not being your own was unknown to me, and a great revelation and relief.

So verbalized or not I have a tendency to accept a thought I guess, of course if its an OCD intrusive thought then that inner verbalization is something like "theres that OCD at work again" or something. However when some huge realization comes to mind its as strong non-verbalized as it is verbalized internally, like it would be just as real, and sometimes its so complete in its understanding and structure that I don't even have to verbalize it

I feel like verbalizing it is a way to solidify it and make myself believe its being internalized instead of maybe just floated by and not absorbed but maybe thats just a habit and not representative of the actual thought process happening, I don't know.
