Cubicle Life: Comfy or not?

Soul draining does not equal comfy, anon. Also, generally many of these jobs will have more pressure on them than the average robot can take
>>
It can be, but only if you embrace it and acknowledge the downsides.
>>
>>37821302
lol not.
maybe, maybe compared to working outdoors.
but aside from that, what are ya thinking?!
>>
It's probably better than retail, not that I would know

i'd choose working in a warehouse over retail... any day.

But cubicles seem comfy as long as they are the low ones where everyone can see what you are doing.

>as long as they are the low ones where everyone can see what you are doing.
what? explain yourself you absolute nigger.
>>
>>37821495
cubicles are best at 5 ft high so you have SOME privacy. if you have a 3 ft fence around you, you might as well be working in one of those god awful open offices.

>>37821553
i think you mean aren't. not are.

It really depends on the job but overall I don't think so. I'm a cubicle wage slave and it's not great. I'm jelly of people that own their own business or just make money by streaming on Twitch but I'm not talented enough to do it myself. I don't know how to find a career I'd enjoy.

>I'm jelly of people that own their own business

meh, you either work for your boss or you work for the customer. it's slavery either way.

>make money by streaming on Twitch

my brother is famous on twitch... he is still lonely as fuck.

If I told you you had to sit for 8+ hours in a tiny cube under harsh florescent lights everyday would you be comfy?
>>
>>37822187
i wouldn't really mind. but i'm a 34 year old NEET living with his parents

haul trash at 2 am in -20 weather in a dangerous neighborhood and see how you feel about it,
>>
>>37822218
Honestly? Yes. At least I'm moving around
>>
sure you wouldn't rather be doing manual labor?
>>
>>37821302
That picture is suicide inducing.

American office culture is cancer.
>>
Office jobs a big time comfy, I work about 3 hours out of my 8 hour shift listening to stand up, the Howard Jew show, and browsing 4chan. Make $17 an hour can't complain one bit.

>>
>>37821302
I only have experience in manual labour.

I'd choose some lazy ass cubicle life over this industrial mechanic shit any day
>>
>>37824142
you'll get fat

for the same reason people who work office jobs then switch to manual labor see pounds "just melt right off"

Damn I love my job. Honey i'm home!
>>
>>37821302
Usually no, but sometimes yes. I had a job in a cubicle with easy work (boss was old and slow so he severely underestimated how much could be done) and little oversight so i had HOURS a day just lurking the internet.

Decided to quit so i could work outside though. Way better than comfy office job
>>
>>37825294
that is the most normie face i have ever seen
>>
>>37825434
what sort of outdoor jobs did you find?
>>
>>37821935
The ceiling, anon.

I used to work in a cubicle when I was 18 or so. I mostly coded, so it was pretty fun. Some days though I would sit there and stare into the gray cubicle "hallway" outside mine, and just feel so cold, dead, and hollow... but then again I always feel that way, so.
