how /out/ approved is the czech republic?
I'm passing by there a couple of days during the summer, maybe get a 3-4-day hike in. Willl be having tent and such.
Would be cool if the locals could point me to some routes.
I've tried searching interwebs plenty of times, but there does not seem to be alot of info about the outdoors in this country, nor is the language making it any easier for me.

Thanks!

Illegal outside camping grounds (even in parking lots)
>>

I'm retarded. I meant camping is. Trekking should be fine. Not sure about great spots/routes sine I'm not a local. Prague is beautiful+inexpensive beer
>>
>>1016610
Prague is already on the list for sure. I kind of figured out already that wild camping is illegal. Im fine with paying die a night at a campsite.

Thanks for the reply!

They just haven't matured.. Had a friend like that.. Always talking about moving to boston, vegan to the core. Then he had his first real relationship and stopped being vegan and moved back to Florida..

Basically its a sign of extreme immaturity.

They seemed more 'mature' than me though.
>>
>>1014464
People who are mature don't talk about their wishes and hopes out loud to strangers. They just fucking do it...

Hey there, /out/. I'm fairly certain we all browse boards other than this one, so I decided to gather info regarding how much overlap there is from one board to another. I've included a (totally not a shooped food triangle) pyramid that I'd like all you kind anons to fill out so that we can get a better grasp on how boards relate to each other. I'll post my own filled in pyramid to give you a better idea of how this works. Keep in mind that you can put as many answers in the segments of the pyramid as you want, but you can only have one home board. Hopefully we get some interesting results. Cheers!

how to start a fire naturally.

If ever I was stranded while camping, how would I start a fire without a lighter or match and just using things around me like twigs and crap like that.

15lb pull

The main fun I have is aiming high into the air and making shots at 300 feet when this bow would typically only send arrows 50 feet

Nailed a bird at 250 feet with this last week I'm getting good at calculating angle and range!

Is there a legal way of making a beetard move his hives further away from my house? His piece of land is 100 m from my house and the swarms often come to drink water on my pond where my kids play. I dont find keeping bees wrong i just want him to move them on the other part of his land, which is closer to the creek and hopefully getting them the fuck away from my kids

i hope this is the right bord for my question...
i'd really like to get into climbing, but i have no idea how. i know nobody who climbs and i don't even know if you have to absolve some courses first, belong to some clubs or if you can just go to climbing routes and try for yourself?
anybody here can give me some bloody beginner infos?

join a gym, join a club, or start bouldering, and make friends.
>>
>>1017170
Find a climbing gym in your area, OP. Start bouldering. Great fun and safe.
>>
Most gyms I've been to will have staff help you climb some of the bigger walls, they're called a belay. Where are you right now OP? And bouldering is a great start and like most physical activities climbers are more than willing to answer any questions you have when you show up.

So I sweat way too much. It makes even slightly warm weather almost unbearable because I look like I jumped in a pond once I start sweating. Someone recently told me that wearing a kilt made a huge difference for them in comfort and dampness. Does anyone here have experience with wearing a kilt for outdoors purposes?

Definitely takes care of sweat on your bottom area since the skirt doesn't come in contact with your skin as much as other options, plus the fact that air flows more freely. You're still going to be drenched on the top parts of your body.

My advice is go with a skirt with no top. It has the added advantage of scaring other people away. Leaving you with a nice, solitary out experience. Unless you're hot or something.

Watching you people talk about hardwood and softwood trees is fucking painful. Most of you actually think it means the tree wood is actually either hard or soft. Just read any thread here about axes or batoning and my point will be proven.

A lot of you need to educate yourselves and stop sounding silly. This is the shortest and easiest way to do it:

What are some good camping food recipes for a large group?

I'm going camping with 18 other people and 4 of us have to cook breakfast one morning for the whole group.

Extra points for good taste, easiness, and time.

Fuckyea I love whettlands! I really don't like open water or swimming or anything, but earthy wetlands like swamps, mires, estuaties, bogs, floodplains, marshes and fens really git my goat.

They're just a concentrated, teeming, fast-paced cycle of life and death that you can see, smell, and step in right before your eyes.

Link related, one of my favourite expeditions ever.

Maybe a penny whistle?
Surely you can fit one in your bag, they are cheap and light, pic related.

A mouth harp could also be fun in the outdoors.

Penny whistle's good but I reckon a tin whistle is betta'. You can play Anon's Happy Floote and also this
