The Way Back is a good movie that's outdoors. However, if this board would filter "/out/ approved" to just "nice" it would make many post less faggoty. In fact, if the mods do so I'll buy a 4chan pass.

Nah, this doesn't need to be a hostile place, but folks should learn that they don't need the approval of a Burmese Basket weaving image board for outdoor activities.

That was loosely based off the book "the long walk". The dropped the best parts for the movie. The story is true, and they saw yeti in the Himalayas. Best book I've ever read

I remember a few years ago I got it in my head that riding a buffalo would be cool as heck. When I looked it up, this was all I found. Makes you wonder if they specifically trained just that one buffalo or if it's some obscure sport that not even the internet is aware of.

Any of Herzog's films. He understands the true meaning of exploration and the death that it has undergone. Also I find the way he is able to meet a person, ask them very targeted questions, and within a couple minutes of interviewing them, form a very distinct picture of what that person's character and life experience is to be absolutely incredible.
>>1020330
>not getting back to your place after a long /out/ing with friends and gf, taking a shower, and curling up to watch a comfy /out/ movie together
I feel sorry for you anon
>>1020335
The juxtaposition of the sheer beauty of the environment with the pure suffering that takes place constantly within it is what makes The Revenant a good film. The cinematography is excellent as well. My only gripe with the film is that they absolutely butchered the true story it was based off of, but that's Hollywood for you.
>>1019338
