Anyone have any good open carry stories? This shit happened to me today
>Today I was waiting in line at the grocery store and the guy behind me in line said "You got a gunfight at high noon, cowboy?"
>This is isn't the first time someone's who's against open carrying has bullied me for exercising my Constitutional right to do so
>In these situations I just say "Try me" and put my hand on my hip right next to my holster
That's not considered "brandishing" your gun (confirmed by a lawyer I talked to who's versed in 2A rights)
>The guy immediately took a step back and said he was just joking around
Proof that open carrying deters people from messing with you

no this shit happened to me today, im tired of living in a free state with shitty liberals trying to fuck things up happening all over. I moved from NJ to get away from shit like this
Hello /k/, im enlisting soon and part of me is growing more and more concerned that i'll be wasting the prime time of my life, im 20 with a year of a university under my belt. Anyone who sevred feel like they regret it/missed out on youth? Would appreciate some geniune advice.

have you talked with anyone who has served?
Honestly since there no real war going on you better not be going in as infantry or some shit.

Holy fuck I want to shoot this
>$25 000 per round
I mean yeah it's cheap compared to missiles and whatnot but $25 000 for a small piece of metal? That sounds kinda crazy and yeah yeah i understand that they have to make it with ridiculously high tolerances but still.
>>34161626
There's also the dispersal mechanism, not to mention that all of this has to work under Mach 7 conditions
>>34161626
Several thousand for the piece of metal. 25k is the quote for standard GPS/INS guided anything.
~200k for millimeter-wave or navalized IR guidance.
/k/ How do I learn to shoot this good?
>>34161392
Damn that was some high speed low drag operating.
>>34161392
Be Chilean for starters
>>34161392
>wasting a dude in a moving car with a pistol from that far while fucking running after a full sprint
Holy shit.
They didn't even have a chance of victory.
>>34161381
I know this is bait, but they won.
>>34161381
Why would you surrender when you're winning
>>34161381
*teleports behind you*
>cleaning Taurus firearm
>take out a round from the chamber
>primer dented
>wut.jpg
It seems that my pistol is denting the primer of the chambered rounds. Should i be worried? I know Taurus has been infamous for firing on its own. Pic related, ammunition under a stereomicroscope.
>>34161250
Fuck
Show Taurus
Send it back pronto
You could ND just chambering
>>34161250
>32
>taurus
>>34161267
Damn, that makes me worried. This is actually my off-duty pistol since 2005, and i was using it during my service because the government PT 24/7 Tactical lot we received was firing just by shaking it, and we sent them all back to the factory (to never see them again, a year ago).
If i send this pistol to the factory, i'll be using literally nothing during my duty.
>ruskies are now using multicam and western optics
just how many special forces friendly fire incidents are we going to see if a conventional war between US and RUS breaks out?
also, why are they copying the west so frantically?
They want to be our friends :3
>>34161208
Western optics are good, multicam is great for arid environments
Probably more than a few initially before everyone adapts
The west has nutty conventional weapons tech
>>34161208
>why are they copying the west so frantically
Rhetorical question, but I'll respond anyway. Because western gear is better.
Not sure if this is /k/ related or /fit/ but oh well ill give it a shot.
I want to learn a hand to hand fighting style but I want it to be a no filler type of style.
Karate and certain oriental styles seem more flashy and unnecessary where's I guess Styles like Krav Maga seem to the point but I'm not sure.
MMA fighting. Maybe some jiu Jitsu for holds and joint locks.
>>34161217
MMA seems too douche and full of meatheads that want to be brand flashy rather than learn to fight.
If the singer of tool does Jiu jitsu i know it must be stupid.

Is anyone else here from Afrika?
Namibia here
>>34161115
you mean DSWA
>>34161115
Of course I'm gonna have to inform you that OF COURSE there are Rhodesians here. Not one myself, but refer to this handy song. https://youtu.be/h_s7L0vrjOI
>>34161115
African, or European? Also how is it over in Namibia?
So now that Colt is making the retro AR and Troy arms also has those throwback rifle too. Would it be possible to get another company, like Armalite, to reintroduce the AR 180?
I really like these rifles and I'm saving up to get one. A new one would be really nice but I don't mind getting a used one.
So what would it take to get Armalite to make the AR 180 or 180B again?
post pics and lets talk it out. lets see if we can make something happen. If anything, they'd just have to make the upper and lower. The rest can be regular AR 15 parts.
Nodak spud makes an "upgraded" lower. Mike from nds says their eventual goal is to make enough aftermsrket parts to make a complete rifle, but who knows if or when that happens.
I dont see much desire for new production ar180s.
>>34161060
I wish the 180b didn't omit the receiver door and folding stock.
>>34161077
What is nds? I'm sorry I haven't heard of it.
I have called Nodak, and it is really nice to have a lower replacement since the 180B lower pivot pin wares. Don't have to keep it as a safe queen.
>>34161134
I'm with you. something about it, specifically the folding stock. seems to make the 180 so distinct.
Show me the greatest weapon man has ever domesticated

They need to redesign their shit to accept doublestack magazines.
It goes bang.
Jamal goes to the morgue.
What more do you want from a 200 gun?
I'll call it good when those niggers figure out double stack magazines, but before that, it's shit.
Hey /k/ I remember reading about some wargame exercises conducted by the US gov that had some very embarrassing results. I can't remember the exact context but I think the opposing force were some rebel fighters or something and they were led by somebody important I forgot the name. Anyways it turns out the rebels beat the US so bad in the wargames that the US changed the rules to make it impossible for the rebels to win and then ran the games again and "claimed" victory.
I know my description is very specific so somebody will know what I'm talking about. Thanks.

The magic messages ran on foot at light speed to give the order to attack.
>>34160910
I mean, that's happened before in the 80's, can't think of any recent examples though.
Would a gunfight like this be possible in real life?
>>34160848
Yes, this is why we have to ban suppressors NOW. Guns are here to defend yourself, not to commit crimes.
>>34160848
No you fucking retarded summerfag
How do people carry IWB?
I tried stuffing my revolver into my belt when I first got it and that shit straight up is uncomfortable.
Stop carrying a revolver.
>>34160823
I don't carry it.
>>34160756
if it is a small revolver get a proper holster for it.
if it is a big one like in that pic then leave it at home, those are not really for daily carry in this time and age.
