most will say no but I think most people on /k/ have fallen for a sort of myth about silencers being ineffective in their attempts to be as contrarian to the non gun community as possible. subsonic ammo out of some silencers will only feature the sound of the action of the gun and the noise of a busy subway would most certainly cover the sound. What people should be complaining about is why do the people in the subway not notice the silenced gun shots but the crowd around the fountain in the previous scene all paniced when they started shooting? also why didnt the panic carry over into the next scene which is the subway scene?

Man, the whole reason I enjoyed the first one was the dead simple story and the realistic gunplay using hypercompetant techniques in crazy neon lighting.

The second movie went full retard by giving me a convoluted story in a world better left implied than explained, and gunfights that straight up broke any semblance of being in the real world. The sequel was trash aside from Keanu himself's excellent techniques.
