How do people carry IWB?
I tried stuffing my revolver into my belt when I first got it and that shit straight up is uncomfortable.
Stop carrying a revolver.

I don't carry it.

if it is a small revolver get a proper holster for it.
if it is a big one like in that pic then leave it at home, those are not really for daily carry in this time and age.

I don't think there was ever a time when a 45-70 revolver was for daily carry.

Saddle pistols

If it's strapped to a saddle, then just use a rifle.

I don't have a BFR, it's a snub nose. I picked up a pocket holster for it but haven't tested the fit yet since there are a lot of restrictions on where I can actually carry it around for now. Just got the pocket holster to see if I have an acceptable clothes that it works with at home, and partly since I didn't have any holster for it. I just don't see how people can wear an iwb holster without buying specific clothes for it and being super uncomfortable wearing it all the time.

it is if you are an NCR Ranger who has to deal with Deathclaws and power armor on a weekly basis.
How much would it cost to replicate the "Ranger Sequoia" from a BFR?

Get a quality holster. Don't know your situation, but a good holster is worth the relatively small money for comfort, and discretion.
I carry a full-size 1911, and two extra magazines with little discomfort.
CrossBreed is the manufacture I use.

5in. barrel? 1911 seem really thin so they don't seem like they'd be terrible for it, but the over all length is really up there. I kind of wanted to try getting an 80% lower and fitting one together.

A rifle is harder to shoot one-handed
