Alao you always meet interesting people asking what you drawing
>>3079807
What's the point of drawing outside if you're just gonna use a ref instead of drawing from life?

How do people like this even exists? Like actually how. How can they look at that shit and go "yeah i just need to keep doing what im doing cause im awesome at this."

every once in awhile anon's will post threads related to art depression or frustration or discussing about why certain artists "make it" those and also this thread goes to show that a lot of /ic/ are just bitter jealous faggots, pathetic.
hi guys. how am i doing.
>>3080968
Sir! Your arm is the wrong way!
Did you go to the Adam Ellis school of painting eyes?
>>3080968
Not very good myself but i'd suggest you spend some time just drawing and learning a bit of construction, your anatomy is a little all over the place so if you improved your anatomy knowledge your stuff would look more decent.
Anatomy is only for drawing from imagination.
If you draw life, just draw what you see, everything is literally infront of you.
"Prove me wrong."
>>3080956
You're a total fag though, as is this pointless thread. Understanding anatomy greatly helps when drawing figures even if you have reference material, you stupid fucking copying machine.
>>3080972
>even if you have reference material
you haven't drawn from life to the point where you literally conflate drawing from life and reference.
are you like one of those virgin kids who 'knows all about sex' because you watch porn
>>3080972
i see how those students draw with their lines i laugh at their shitty paintings and i draw like freud does, finishing one part going to another part, and after finishing the drawing or painting, adding something else.
drawling lines can be useful, im not saying theyre not, but imo theyre even harder to draw than the real thing (at least for me), though when i draw sphere i draw square and do the lines, bcs sphere gotta be round u know. but the face, you just look at it closely, proportions will come naturally, compare every detail, chin with eyes, nose with hair, ears with lips. compare fucking every detail.
I need references of human heads turning incrementally. any idea where i may find some really good ones? even 3D ones would be good
>>3080886
you could take a video of yourself turning around and reduce it to frames.
ive done it before its pretty fun
do you think memes have affected graphic design outputs in the last decade or the way gd is perceived or done?
>>3080878
perhaps, there's certainly qualities in common with current design and meme design, but that might just be because all the technology has converged, so all culture has one source now
who gives a shit
what a boring question
shut up
personally I love the lad and everything he does but I'm a weird canker blossom and I want to know what you thought

She shot that bitch because she's riding a bike barefoot.
Been drawing for years, never showed my drawings to anyone. I've decided to be more serious about it. I need some criticism.
>>3080742
It's shit. It's flat as fuck, and your drawing shows that you have absolutely no sense of form. But if you go into the sticky, you can find the tools to get better. Good luck, m8.
>>3080742
i wuld fuk her ;)
>>3080747
What's the sticky?
People who have been drawing for years (Or even a year) but still suck. What was your routine? What did you think you did right?
We usually hear from those who draw and become good quickly, but what about those that have made no progress? I feel like it's good to hear from both sides.

the triangle is usually a symbol for lesbianism
>draw every day
>do exercises
>read loomis
>watch proko
>still can't properly draw the human figure
should've tried fruity loops or some shit, music is way easier than this garbage
>>3080541
What have the successful people said their routines were?
How do I stop going on /ic?

it's the most negative shit hole ever honestly tumblr is so much better even if everyone is a sjw
I want to learn how to construct pictures from color/light. I checked out Nathan Fowkes' tutorials but they seem to be horribly expensive and most of the lessons are just him talking about banal shit.
Who should I check out?
>>3080315
I heard Nathan Fowkes is pretty good.

Nobody said that he's not a good artist, he's just not a good teacher.

i have a super good book on this called 'light for the artist' perhaps you could get a copy

>Worst/Cheapest stand design possible
>Still has trouble designing it
>wacom

Do we know what it looks like?
Do people really spend 8-10 hours a day on art?? Even at my peak performance I was only spending 2...
Lately I haven't even been getting to 1 hour a day. It's just too hard. I'd rather just lay in my bed and sleep...it just feels so good man...
Ive been practicing on and off for about 3 years now. My drawings are terribad. You would think they were made by someone who just started (although I have seen some improvement). But I want to get REALLY good like professional level good because I want to be able to create concept art for 3d modeling purposes. I would like to spend 8-10 hour a day and as a NEET you would think I have the time but laying in bed and playing video games is just sooo much better than practicing.
I don't know what to do. HELP!
>>3079489
>counting hours spend on art
It doesn't sound like you are enjoying it.
art is 4 weak minded fools, just like those kids in school who goes home and does everything from studying to doing their homework
>>3079503
>art is 4 weak minded fools, just like those kids in school who goes home and does everything from studying to doing their homework
So what takes willpower? Playing video games?
What's the worst part about Tumblr art?
>>3079004
everything
>>3079004
people posting threads about it on /ic/
>>3079004
That it exists.
