Sir! Your arm is the wrong way!
Did you go to the Adam Ellis school of painting eyes?

Not very good myself but i'd suggest you spend some time just drawing and learning a bit of construction, your anatomy is a little all over the place so if you improved your anatomy knowledge your stuff would look more decent.

>There are people in the draw thread who could benefit much more from your redline
post one.

I say otherwise, i feel like atleast when you're starting out, that more specific advice is more helpful. If you just redirected a beginner to drawabox or some other book or whatever i just feel like most of the info taught in there would fly over their head.
talking from personal experience i tried reading hamptons figure drawing book back when i started out, and i didnt learn shit, but now after 2 years i quickly pick up what he's trying to teach

There isn't a draw thread atm, but maybe two thirds of all posts in /Alt/ fit that description.

Figure drawing shouldn't be of any concern for a beginner due to its complexity.
OP won't benefit from your redline, because you showed him the finished result, but not the process behind it. You studied gesture, proportion and form, but OP doesn't know that, so he'll assume that simply fixing a couple broken limbs and a stiff deltoid will fix their problem.
What could actually fix their problem is learning how to learn (Keys to drawing, Drawabox) and starting with basic stuff (boxes, cylinders, insects and plants).
Obviously you have to pick a beginner's book, I'd never recommend Hampton's figure drawing to someone starting out.
I hope that makes sense.
