>anon says his been drawing for 2 years.
>post his work.
>it's shit.
What the hell is wrong with these people ?
Well... you (theoretically) have been immersed in language for at least 18 years and is still at kindergarten levels of self-expression and orthography.
What gives?

I dont know, its amazing to witness
I figure if you didnt have some knack for it from a young age then its not your thing
That not to say you needed to be working on it all the time, but as kids dont we all draw and do art at some time? I think those hours count alot and when you ever come of age and realise that yes this is a thing that you can do, then it doesnt really matter how much youve studied.
Its in your genetics, its what you are.
Now we come to another topic, the discrepancy between a true artists soul, who has something to give, maybe without even having superb technical skills, and those that think art is all about technical skill....
which one is better?
the one who can draw perfect figures but without any real meaning? or the ones who have the deep meaning to give (spiritual, uplifting), but havent got to a high level of skill?
I personally prefer the latter.
It all good to create amazing pictures but what is the value of it without that deeper understanding and communication?

I'm going to miss its binary brush. Doodling in it was casual fun.

Now how am I going to paint digitally?

Didn't they just recently update Paint for Win10 with 3D modeling tools and shit? I have never actually looked at it on my laptop since the creators update.
How many hours of practice will it take to go from know-nothing to making money drawing porn on patreon
If your only drive to create art is to make money off of porn then I don't think it's worth your time honestly.
>>3071577
It's certainly not the only drive for me to create art. I just want something I invest so heavily in to also give back to me
>>3071567
Probably a long ass time if you don't start right now and keep staring at colo's drawings lol
Seeing how freelance work is tough and doesnt pay well and working in a studio is not worth the hassle... How do you succeed in Patreon? Do you have to spam your shit out so more people are drawn into it? I'm not talking about porn or other shit, something more like Ilya Kuvshinov for example. Going by this example you just have to produce nice looking images and be consistent and there you go.
I'm not a fan of his work but isn't he a good example of achieving a lot in Patreon with not that much of an effort?
consistant style + consistant updates + fanart = exposure and eventually money
Found this, just wanted to post it here in case any one else wants to join

Okay so I'm part of this 99designs Logo contest. I submitted three designs to give the client some variety to pick from (super sleek, modern, silhouettes with flat colors). It seemed like the client liked them because they gave me a decent rating compared to a lot of other entries.
After finalists were chosen (I was selected among them), I went back to check if there was any feedback. What I find is that someone took their totally original logo design (cell shaded, thick outline, highlight..really cool looking) and then literally submitted two more entries that abondon his original intent in favor for what I did. Now, in writing this may seem like just using my design for inspiration and totally not plagiarism. However, I tell you this user took my look (flat silhouettes, sleek), took my layout, took my exact colors, and placed the logo EXACTLY where I've placed it.
The only thing is that his symbol is different. Everything else is the same. I'm wondering if I should take action and report that user's ass.
Crude pic related isn't exactly the design, rather a visual representation of what happened.
mate theres a board for graphic design
4ch is it possible to go to college after 2 years of studying with teacher? I practically don't know how to draw. I know ~~~nothing~~~ about composition, drawing with aquarelle and other. But i have 2 years. Is here anybody like me?
And i probably don't know where to look at artworks of already entered.
You can always go to college anon, unless you're some poor hipster.

What do u mean?
>>3076425
I think he means most art schools will take anything with a pulse.
So is Draw a box any good? Should I bother going through all the exercises or should I just read a book?
>>3076251
both
It can only be good for you. I'm sure there's an infinite amount of ways you could educate people on art properly but some art education is better than none so I don't see why not on trying it.

Does anybody have a torrent for Jazza's arty games andriod. I've been looking forever and can't find a torrent any where, does anybody have a link they could share?
>jazza can't get people to buy his shitty mobile games
>has to shill it on /ic/
>>3075971
Why would you want it?
It's just a random generator of characteristics.
>>3075971
/ic/ is a place to gather legit resources, not useless toys.
Has someone actually went here on /ic/ and became successful ?
If so how many of them are ?
there's tons, but you don\t know any because you're a loser yourself.

I like this guy's perspective series. Is Vandruff enough to get everything I need?
Enough for you to start with, and when he does that perspective series with Proko you won't need anything more.
>>3074570
Depends on your goals, I did Vandruff and then Scott Robertson. I am very happy with my results.
>>3074573
>when he does that perspective series with Proko
what the hell, why would he besmirch his name by associating with Scroto
Edward Hopper painted Queensboro bridge in 1913. Does anyone know what is that small building in the painting / does it still exists? I can't find any information about it.
>>3073840
It's most likely a private residence on Roosevelt Island. You'd have to see if real estate records still exist for that time, to get the info on who owned a plot near the bridge. It won't be easy, the island was sold to the city in the 20's, and was mostly used for hospitals, and a lot of stuff before that was torn down.
>>3073840
well it's not still there
