i don't see what's so great about nightly, works just as good as chrome or anything else i've tried. none of the firefox add-ons work anyways. opera is kind of shoddy and the vpn won't work half the time, what's a good browser with heavy customization, good speed, and privacy protection?
Slimjet. Its ungoogled by default, comes with a built in adblocker, "turbocharged download manager" (it werks I use it all the time to speed up my downloads) lots of privacy/security options including one to disable/enable webRTC, and memory management features like unloading idle tabs after a specified number of tabs is open. Its extremely underrated. Get the 64 bit version as well if you dont mind using more ram for a faster experience.

Try Vivaldi.

If someone steals a car does that make it free?

It's free from its owner.
What are some alternatives to this piece of shit?
I constantly get conflicts because the client doesn't reconnect properly, it's bloated as hell and trying to transfer any relatively large file to my rpi 3 pins all cores at 100% and gives an estimated transfer time of multiple hours.
What's a simple syncing client that can keep files on two computers synced with a central server without bloat or meme tier features?
Not having a normie friendly web app is also a bonus.
any cloud with cryptomator

>rpi 3
Found your issue.
>>62255051
Yeah nextcloud is too bloated to be used on a shitty personal server.
>>62254893
Maybe seacloud is better? I don't know of any more selfhosted cloud software
Why do the majority of users prefer chromium over canary?
>muh botnet
It's been confirmed that chromium installs proprietary blobs that does whatever
Then dont use Chromium, use UGChromium or Iridium.

get a new router
>>62254841
Your router probably has a stored logon and password for the ISP's network. If you reset the router or replace it you'll never again be able to use the internet.

Hi /g/, I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to working on the command line. How can I make a custom bash prompt with ascii art displaying user info, cpu, os, etc etc.? I want to add this http://anime.en.utf8art.com/arc/touhou_307.html to the left side and the info to the right, and have it show when I open my windows cmdline.
RTFM screenfetch

Since I'm stuck using win10 (at the moment), should WinScreeny work properly? Is there any way to do this by running a manual $PS1 script?
https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2017/09/01/google-campaign-more-women-minorities-computer-science-roles-tv-movies-hollywood/622088001/
Most TV computer scientists are still white men," USA Today reports. "Google wants to change that. Google is calling on Hollywood to give equal screen time to women and minorities after a new study the internet giant funded found that most computer scientists on television shows and in the movies are played by white men. The problem with the hackneyed stereotype of the socially inept, hoodie-clad white male coder? It does not inspire underrepresented groups to pursue careers in computer science, says Daraiha Greene, Google CS in Media program manager, multicultural strategy." According to a Google-funded study conducted by Prof. Stacy L. Smith and the Media, Diversity, & Social Change Initiative at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Google's Computer Science in Media team conducted "CS interventions" with "like-minded people" to create "Google influenced storytelling."
Google's modus operandi is to use their enormous profits from advertising to experiment. Originally they experimented with technology, now they're also moving into trying to effect social change. Think of them as a for-profit think tank or research institution, like a university but without students, public accountability, or government/charity funding.
