Hi /g/,

I need help. Recently I started to scan my university literature, but ocassionaly some prints are too light.

Is there a software, that will amplify the readability of my scans?

I had a smartphone software that did this by removing background and sharpening/darkening the font. Is there a windows software for this?

>>
doesn't your scanner come with scanner software?
it might have some scan settings like dpi, contrast, brightness, and gamma.
try turning up contrast
>>
It's a pretty dull software installed on it. Nothing to adjust. I just get batches of .jpeg images.

How would you describe a comfy design?
Do you have a screenshot to show?

Just like 'meme' and ASFR had to be defined in Wikipedia and KYM, so should we define what we mean by 'comfy' so UI architects can have a starting/reference point.

comfy in UI manifests through user customization, this is because they can change it to a completely different appearance than that which they might use at work or simply their own theme reminds them of a comfortable memory

Hi NSA!

I have a Sony Vaio Pro 13 which is about 4 years old, can I swap out the 128GB SSD that came preinstalled with this one?

You did the same thread last week and we told you to check the ssd length for the built in one
(That or Sony sold a lot of Vaio pros)
>>
yeah but the SSD I want to purchase is different this time. SSD in Vaio is 80mm, same as the one I have listed. I don't know what ACHI or NVMe or what anything else is compatibility wise

I should have known. Of course I should have known.
So, what do you think is the Difference between 2017-05-01 and 2017-06-01?
You got that right, of course it's 1 month.

And what is the difference in months between 2017-06-01 and 2017-07-01?
You're right again, it's zero. After all, the difference is only 30 days, and as we all know, all months have 31 days.

I can almost see the MONTH = DAY * 31 in some C array in the PHP source in front of me...

>>62244692

Congratulations, you discovered how rounding works. Impressive for a PHPlet.
>>
>>62244692

So you think a month should have a variable amount of days?

So basically when you ask to add 3 months to a date then it will just randint?
>>
Can some PHP wizard please tell me how to put an user inputted file into a certain directory with a new filename from the time () function.

You're a bit late to the party. Gaming laptops don't even go above 60C anymore and they have pretty much desktop GPUs in them.
>>
at this point they make sense.

most companies have stopped making them look like transformers, most companies have good quality gpus with acceptable cooling, most companies have priced them competitively.

my 60 year old father who has never played a video game in his life other than gamecube with me when I was a child has a Lenovo Y-series gaming laptop (admittedly one of the models that looks like a transformer) entirely because it was the most price-conscious computer that fit his specific ass criteria (backlit keyboard, SSD, screen size)

What does it mean when a game runs in background processes and doesn't actually launch?

Reinstalling Windows 10 via Fresh Start changed nothing.

Yes, latest, a few hours ago. I'm surprised even video recording works! But the mic is too low, i modified the mixer_paths xml but it fucked up the system sound and i had to flash from the ground.

Oh forgot to add something. While your article is not too shabby, it's far too short. People want news, something to kill time. It took me two minutes to read. You need to expand in great depth. Cite sources for your points by referencing, and stick to your original argument. You started off with "is skynet on the rise" and ended with".
And avoid self-referencing like "I think" or "doesn't sit well with me". People want objective views, speak in third person.

Do they still make dumb TVs? I need to buy a new TV but smart TVs are too slow and stupid. Something with a fast response time and like 3 HDMI ports just in case. 1080p is just fine, no need for 4K
4 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>62241651
To the best of my knowledge, no smart TV actually forces you to use the smart features. Yes, it is stupid to pay for those features and not use them. But, as you've probably noticed, dumb TVs are harder to find. If you can find a smart TV on sale for a good price, there should be no reason not to buy it and just connect it to a source the same as a dumb TV.
>>
>>62241720
I just hate that with smart TVs, if you choose the wrong one, you're looking at a fucking splash screen with a company logo while the thing boots up, and just overall navigating the thing is slower than in a dumb TV.

I have a TCL TV with the built-in Roku, and while it's probably one of the fastest I've come across, it still takes longer than I'd like to turn on. And you can't just input your channel because there aren't any numbers in the controller; you have to scroll through a list.

Sorry for the Tech Support question but was wondering if any of you have come across this problem. Pulled out my old desktop computer, I haven't touched it in over 8 months. When I start it up the boot system boot hardware logo pops up with the "Press DEL to enter SETUP".. ext.But won't go past that. My computer won't give power to my keyboard. The keyboard lights won't light up and I'm stuck on the boot screen. Anyone come across this or know what part of my hardware crapped out?
