Where do you get your motivation to go to the gym more than once a week?

My motivation is the moment I realized the sauna machine burns 300-500 calories in 30 minutes. After a 90 minute lifting session I sit in there and sip on a double scoop protein shake. I'm already big but want to be lean

Get wagie job, constantly pulling 5 hour shifts every day, no breaks always on my feet, terrible exercise compared to my gym routine but so exhausting I don't work out so that I can avoid being dead tired during my shifts. How do I prevent loss of gains? My legs will probably maintain gains due to constant use but my arms need attention, should I just say fuck it and hit the gym anyways and energy drink my way through my shifts? I really miss the gym

Your gains and general health are of greater value than whatever shit they have you doing in five hour shifts. It's not an excuse to not lift. Lift first if you're too tired to do so after your McJob.
I'm a fucking wage slave as well for 8 to 9 hours on foot unloading trucks and cooking like a mad cunt. Do not let that garbage job rob you of your ambitions in outside life, gains or other endeavors. I've got fucks that work with me who put in their shift and rush home to tv/game/drink. That's the path to never being anything more than what you do for a living, which is doubly detestable considering that we're on the low end of that spectrum.

Is exercise really as transformative as people say it is?
I ask because I have been exercising and none of the magical stuff has happened yet:
-I haven't gone from a skinny virgin loser to a fit Chad with a wife and kids.
-I don't feel like I have much more energy in general.
-I haven't gained significant mental clarity and focus.
Is it all just a meme?

Okay, /fit/. I thought I had this shit figured out. I'm visiting New York City and thought that since I do IF now and only eat two meals (small first meal, big second meal) I wouldn't have a problem with not blowing my diet. But it's so. Fucking. Impossible to eat out and not fuck up. Everything is cooked in oil, loaded with carbs, and made to be delicious, not healthy. Plus, there's no actual way to know the nutritional content of the food at a restaurant that isn't a chain. Just exactly what the fuck is someone supposed to do if they're not preparing their own meals? Am I supposed to bring a slow cooker and make chicken in my hotel room? Why does it have to be impossible to travel and enjoy yourself and stay fit at the same time?

That's the problem, though. I don't just want to enjoy myself for a week or two out of 52. I live in Madison, Wisconsin, and we have great places like pic related and I'm tired of shrugging off opportunities to go out because I can't be conscious of what I'm eating/drinking.

I never say no when my dad insists we go to a restaurant (not even fast food), I go just for the hell of spending time with him. as long as it's not a long term daily habit, it won't be a gains goblin. hit up a grocery store if it really bugs otherwise.
Is avocado oil the best/healthiest oil to cook with?
This might sound stupid, but can you even cook most things with avocado oil? Is the only thing really stopping people from using it instead of olive oil the price, cause olive oil taste like trash and I'd move to avocado immediately if I could.

From what I saw on the internet it has the highest smoke point so that is nice. Also low on omega 6's just like olive oil. Also no saturated fats unlike coconut oil. So it seems to have everything going for it.

I need some advice bros. Is it possible to slow bulk while loosing body fat and gaining muscle at the same time. It took me a while to figure my metabolism but with the current workload I get i need to eat at most 3500 calories a day to have a significant weight increase per week. Should I eat as much protein and saturated fats as possible but not going over 3200 calories per day to lose day but keep on making gains.
5'11" and 177lb (morning weight). Yes ive read the sticky but I need some detailed calorie suggestions

Don't try to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Concentrate your efforts on either bulking or cutting. If you're self-conscious about your weight now, then cut down and then start bulking when you're lean. It will actually be much easier that way.

So just how bad will I have it? (230lbs at 5'8) I'm losing the fat at a steady rate because I do cardio and weight lifting.

I've got some loose skin on my upper arms, torso, and my gut. I didn't lift for most of the last year or so because it didn't really fit in with my routine, but if you can lift then I definitely recommend it.
You're probably gonna have loose skin around the same areas. If you're looking to look good, you'll especially want to grow your
>Pecs
>Lats
>Traps
>Delts
>Shoulders
>Biceps
>Triceps
>Obliques
Targetting those will help with the problem areas for loose skin. Prioritize upper body over lower body for now. Don't expect to look amazing when you are done losing weight. You'll probably have to go through a few cut/bulk cycles (ie a few years) before you notice a significant difference, but your experience may vary.

I actually have a pretty good weight lifting routine, it even involves things like supersets and am targeting those areas. Do girls say anything or are grossed out by it? Also wouldn't the amount I'll eventually have be less? I'm trying to get to around 170lbs. So losing 50lbs vs 150lbs you did. Thanks btw since this is my biggest concern at this point because I've gotten used to working out and eating less.
