Hey /an/. I am moving to a new house with my partner. I have 2 dogs and he has 2 dogs. The older one of my dogs cannot seem to stand either one of his dogs and we have had issues socializing her in the past. We cannot get someone else to take his dogs, and I really really would not like to have anyone watch mine. What do I do?
Pic unrelated.

Not sure they're afraid of humans but rather afraid of our number.
Pretty sure putting you alone in the middle of a forest would end up with you getting killed

Polar bears may disagree.
>When male chicks are born in egg farms, they are considered useless. Thus, they are disposed of, by grinding them alive.
>>2398626
no shit dumbass, you think they grew your tendies on a tree?
the .gif won't play for me. Anybody got a mirror?
Why don't they kill them and sell them as snek food?
>be walking along the neighborhood
>spot a crow's feather someone stuck into the local telephone poll
>decide to take it with me, fuck the feds
>IMMEDIATELY THREE CROWS COME OUT OF THE WOODWORK AND START SWARMING ME
>CAW CAW CAW CAW CAW
>wth I didn't mean to what did I do what did I do
>start running
>CAW CAW CAW CAW CAW
>crows in hot pursuit, swooping down over my head
>stick the feather in another telephone poll down the street
>crows cease to follow me
Was I interrupting a funeral or something?
>>2398530
Did you do something to piss them off earlier? because they remember faces nd if you did something they would know you
Try giving them food or something, they will remember you and tell their friends that you give food
>>2398536
>Did you do something to piss them off earlier?
No and in fact the local crows are usually chill as fuck & I already feed them. I don't know why taking the random feather would impact them at all unless it held emotional weight for them.
Maybe they were the ones who stuck it into the telephone polE (fuck my life) in the first place?

Giant Isopod thread
This is the thread for one of the most underappreciated animals on earth, post pics or have general discussions about this amazing creature
Giant isopods having some delicious dorites
>Grew up farming corn
>Instructed to hate crows
>Can't chase them off
>Nothing works
>They're smart as fuck
>Begin admiring the bastards
>End up capturing a bunch of them in traps
>Dad tells me to shoot them
>Instead spend an afternoon building a bid cage
>Put all crows in the cage
>Begin training and conditioning them
>They attack and chase out other crows from the farm
>My parents are not amused by this
>Dad "accidentally" leaves open door one day
>All crows but one fly away
>Jokes on him, I still have one and the rest hang round the farm, no longer restrained by "working hours"
Years later, my parents still tell me there's a murder of crows defending their land.
Crows are the shit.
I liked this story.
How did you catch the crows to begin with?
>>2397691
Standard pigeon traps or just straight up a bowl of seed under a box with a stick propping it up and some string tied around it.
I initially tried other traps we had for raccoons and the like that were weight based, but it was too unreliable for obvious reasons.
Eventually they started getting wise to the various traps I had built and their variations (or so it seemed) despite my best efforts. I ended up with about 30ish before I stopped with my best record being 6 in a day.
>>2397689
Why would your parents be mad at crows for helping out on the farm?
"BORK BORK I MUST GO OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW!"
>put him outside
>less than 5 minutes later
"BORK BORK BORK I MUST GO BACK INSIDE RIGHT NOW!"
>open the back door
>he starts playing with his ball, prancing all around the yard
>go back inside
>less than 5 minutes later
"BORK BORK BORK BORK I MUST GO BACK INSIDE RIGHT NOW!"
He wants to play with you outside, dumb fuck.
>take him inside
>starts puking
>>2394845
No shit, but there's no reason for him to bark his head off after 3 minutes of being outside alone.
Why do weathermen, on television and radio and even in print, always characterize sunny warm weather as something great which everyone obviously loves and wants to have and cloudiness or precipitation as something bad which nobody wants? This never fails to irritate me.
>>2392436
I am allergic to sunlight so fuck that guy. Overcast weather is good for everything.
Because unlike you people don't spend their entire day indoors
>>2392439
overcast days are when i actually go out though
Does anyone have a black cat? I don't.
Is he a good boy, or not?
It is my understanding that black cats are at higher risk of animal abuse in certain cultures due to the culture and the old witchcraft memes, thus the below questions.
What are some laws and organizational practices which are meant to protect black cats from abuse? Do people who attempt to buy black cats have to "answer an extra question or two" in certain jurisdictions? etc.
I've heard some people have this same silly worry that people pick on black cats for superstitious reasons, but I've never witnessed it.
My black cat is a pretty good guy, if not a bit stupid.
>>2392022
Around here we won't sell black cats on and before Halloween. There's also police that go out all night checking for animal abuse including towards black cats. It's generally very easy to spot people who will harm black cats. They are either very scared of the cat and refuse to touch it, or they don't want to get attached and want to get the cat and do the deed asap. These people usually refuse to or act extremely weird during our mandatory meet and greet with the cats, in which we will make a judgement call and refuse adoption.

>seemingly clipped ear

As someone who has this concern and who is not a black cat pro, your picture does not do much to inspire confidence in me.
Well?

How much ammo does the human have? If it's a ton and slugs are included, definitely the best choice
The mice
A rifle cant do shit against a thousand swarming rats that can climb, swim and just swamp you; neither can any of the other choices
Lets discuss animals that could have existed, animals that might exist somewhere or animals that might exist in the future.
If the non-avian dinos were never wiped out which one would've been most likely to evolve intelligence?

There was a little bird in front of our door, which didn't flew away as I approached. I don't know whether it's inability to fly is due to exhaustion or if it's hurt.
I put it in the shower with sunflower seeds and water, but I guess that's normally not on their menu.
What do? Everything is closed because it's a national holiday and I don't even know if I could afford a treatment.
Is it the bird flue? I hope not he already hopped onto my shoulder and shat all over the place.
It might be a fledgling. If it isn't injured, leave it alone and put it back where you found it. They are supposed to be out of the nest and wandering around with the parents coming back to feed it from time to time.
>>2399440
Should I put him back? My neighbor has cats..
That's him, sorry for the late pic, changed ROM and had to wait
>>2399470
It's definitely a fledgling bird. If you can, place him somewhere where the cats cannot get it or tell your neighbor to keep their cats indoors. If it is in real danger with no chance of surviving the cats though, it is best to send it to a wildlife rehab if they're available in the area. The fledgling unfortunately has a low chance of surviving if without its parents unless someone with rehab experience is involved.
Help /an/, I'm an autistic fag who can't get over the loss of his dog and I'm going to be blowing my brains out tonight, any recommendations on what the letter should say?

>Help /an/, I'm an autistic fag who can't get over the loss of his dog and I'm going to be blowing my brains out tonight
I think that about sums it up.
also, don't do it. Just get another dog. They're all pretty much the same.
>>2399167
I think I'm autistic enough that I think she was special in many ways. I had her for 13 years, so that might have something to do with it. Still, I don't know if putting her as a reason in a suicide letter would be better than just writing the usual shit.
>>2399596
Is this your first loss? Because if it is, it will pass, and if it isn't than you already know it will pass. It takes time, but don't you know that you will love again. Some puppy at a pound needs your love, it will literally get killed without it, and you can save that dog, and many more throughout your lifetime. Aren't they special?
And if you are really committed to killing yourself, than go do something fucking balls off the wall first. Hitchhike through Afghanistan, profess your love to a bunch of women, throw shit a billionaire's face. If you have nothing to live for, than literally just do something awesome since the consequences won't matter.
Also family members are the most devastated ones from this shit. It can screw up multiple people's entire lives. Happened to my family and the entire dynamics changed and not one person is the same.
Japanese suicide poems are the best suicide notes though if you have to go through with it.
