Is that Mike Tyson in that picture? I know he's a pigeon lover.
>those with 2+ cats are sociopaths who probably see them as accessories
>dog owners are narcissists who want a creepy little minion to do their bidding or a big muscular dog to compensate for something
>ferret owners are insane, all of them have at least something weird about them
>large exotic bird owners have given up on life and have accepted being cucked by their huge cockatoo that craps everywhere, screams and tears up their house
>rat owners have no experience with wild rats and will defend them to the death thinking they're the same as fancy rats
>snake people probably have a name like seth or josh and have a furaffinity account and are totally into vore
>saltwater fish are the most autistic pets you can have and attract retired/really good job-having dads and aspies
>hamsters are kept by people who think rats are gross but still want a little weirdo that pees on everything and then chews it, except this time it bites you constantly
dog/cat owners are obsessed with what everyone else owns

I think you want to see yourself as le cuteness crusaders but in reality you're just cringe warriors like the rest.
Let's play a game, /an/.
You post a picture of the above post's request, and then you get to request your own. If you can't find a picture of the request, you can post what you believe is the next best thing, then make your own request.
I'll start with something easy. Any eagle with any genetic mutation.

Discuss anything aquarium related here, including inhabitants, decor and issues.
Google is your friend.
Feel free to ask questions but know that there are a lot of resources out there that could answer your question a lot faster and accurately than /an/.
Make sure to include these things in your post before asking because we can't help you if we don't have the full picture:
-tank size (include dimensions, not just volume)
-parameters (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, pH, GH, KH)
-any and all inhabitants + how long you've had them

how do i make money out of this hobby? should i consider breeding the fish i have?
What animals do you love that are generally unloved by most people?
I adore scorpions. I find them fascinating. I'd love to own one as a pet (not pic related, an Emperor Scorpion), because I think they're beautiful.

Are there any fast growing terrestrial tarantulas that aren't complete assholes?
I want to get something that doesn't take half a decade to reach decent size but it seems that growing fast and eating a lot also means bad attitude.

Far as I know, LPs are a mixed bag. They can either be fairly docile, as in vid related
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i0IpU-1WEc
or they're super nervous and even defensive. All I know for sure is that they go from 1st instar to three inches in a year. if you do plan on getting one, I'd suggest talking with the breeder via email or phone to confirm the individual's temperament, and at that, you'll only get a definitive answer if the animal is at least a sub-adult.
The colors have gotten a bit stronger now and their hunger is insatiable.

Can someone please tell me what the hell this thing is? I see them all over the place in the summer, and I have no idea what they are. The way they move is kind of unsettling.

It's about an inch and a half long, if that helps.

House centipede. Good little nocturnal predators that catch spiders and insects.
They can sting if you pick them up, but it's like a bee sting in severity and they're harmless if a bit creepy.

They're pretty great because they
>are always cute
>don't destroy or shit on everything
>pollinate your flowers
>are aggressive little shits, but since they're small it's like an aggressive manlet, it's cute

I love them too. They're so fast and they're kind of assholes but in a cute endearing way. Also I love their sparkly feathers.
One day has passed after adopting a shelter cat, and even though he's as lovable and independent as I could have hoped for, I'm starting to experience severe regret for reasons that aren't quite clear to me.
How should I feel about this? Will it pass?
making a life-changing decision always brings some kind of regret. it will usually pass as you get used to the change and realize that the benefits outweigh the negatives.

Just sayin. Hug your doggo today.
Thank you.
Until they die and make you want to kill yourself more.
For a long time, my dogs have been the reason I've kept going over the years, I owe them a lot.
>>2397468
I used to be like that but now my brain just switches off when tragedy strikes ever since a certain dog I had got run over when I was 13. Sent me sailing over the edge because she was the only good thing mixed in with a ton of abuse, growing up basically feral in a rotten house with no water or electricity.
I suppose if one good thing came out of that it's that I quickly learned independence and shrug off anything awful now even if it means I can't remotely keep up with relationships due to the apathy but whatever. I still take good care of my pets. One my three dogs died a few weeks ago and I forgot about it immediately after burying her.

>but now my brain just switches off when tragedy strikes
>I forgot about it immediately after burying her.
Not judging you but that's quite extreme. The psychological scars must be immense.
are some wild birds just naturally tamed?
>be me
>smoking on a porch
>woodpecker flies on the table
>start calling him just for fun
>bird jumps on my neck almost immediately
this happened 3 days ago he was emotionally attached to me from the first second he saw me. he constantly fallows me and he never leaves the area around the house. this is kind of problematic because i also have a cat i actually had to put the bird in a cage a few times because i was scared he will chill aimlessly on the porch while im not around since he does not show any sings of fear at all.
did anyone ever saw this kind of bird behavior?
what would be the best thing to do?
pic related its my nigga
>>2397031
he's going to peck your head open to eat your brain
Dunno about tame, but certainly theres types that are more easy going with human contact. Tfw blackbirds and robins eating from palm whenever i visit my grandparents.
>>2397035
he dose peck my head quite a bit in a playful way. i still find it sketchy tho since he keeps poking in the ears and the nose witch feels uncomfortable af to me.
>>2397046
this is more then easy going with humans tho. its like he volunteered him self to be my pet bird. i find it mind-boggling that a random bird would act this way.
im actually trying to "teach" him to be on my window rather then the porch but it seems he doesnt give a fuck / has trouble flying to the window
