M24 here. I have been in a relationship for 2 years, second year has been LDR cuz studies. The girl I'm with is beautiful, fun and smart.I have doubts that any girl can treat a man this good. Sometimes she is a bit on the negative side, but I get a kick from cheering her up. However, we have had our struggles. Long story short, she lies to me. About most things, especially her past and other men. She knows from date 2 that I have trust issues. I gave her an ultimatum, the truth about everything or we are finished. So many times she has said "And this is everything". But again and again she lies to me. I seriously doubt I will ever find a better woman ( besides the lies) and me dumping her will make me bitter and always compare her great qualities with a potential future new SO. Should I dump her or should I just wait and hope that some time all truths will be said? Sorry for bad english, just had a crisis and I'm quite wasted. Ask if unclear, cheers.

So, need some advice. I stopped taking birth control a couple of months ago and have been in a sexual relationship for about a month now. The first month of quitting, I had a light period, this month I had some bleeding that started in the middle of a sexual encounter (awkward). I figured I would continue a normal period after this but it has been 3 days since then and I have not had any signs of a period. Should I be concerned? We use condoms every time, how likely is it that I'm pregnant? pic unrelated.

She started dating some guy with a lot of cash after me and I was pretty fucking jealous when I heard. It didn't work out though and she's been posting heartbreak memes on social media showing she's pretty much going through the same thing she put me through. I've been angry at her since we split because she initially pursued me, then jacked me around and led me on. Now seeing she's getting a taste of her own medicine, I thought I'd feel a sense of satisfaction but I don't... I feel sorry for her, even though she caused me so much pain and sleepless nights. Nights where I was laying there with tears in my eyes while she rode another man's dick across town. Why am I not relishing in this?

I work in the IT department of a public hospital and because of that we have access to certain resources from the government framework such as a program for patient tracking. We have access to be able to disconnect sessions if the user is experiencing difficulties. When browsing around this app I noticed a link that once clicked opened up a web browser but upon closer inspection the web browser was open in that session and not running from my computer. I looked at the proxy settings and they were set to a different IP than we use to get out to the internet. I entered the proxy settings into my own pc overwriting the one already there and to my amazement I was able to surf the web without needing to enter a proxy username and password or being restricted, I am able to go to any site without blocking restrictions and when checking my IP was coming from a different source. It seems as though the IP is that of the government.

now what should I do tell someone? Or use it to my advantage somehow?

Two simple questions that bother me for quite a while.

Can you be confident when you know you look average at most, definitely not good looking? I mean of course you need to have confidence and show that, but what if you don't have anything to base this confidence on

And if so, how do you achieve it?

Why do people ignore me when im talking to them?
It goes like this:
Me: "Hey, have you ever visted a football game?"
XY: "No."
Me: "No? I've been there multiple times. Its really cool"
XY: "Okay"
Me:"Are you interested in any sport at all?"
XY:"Not really"

I fucking hate those situations. Like im really trying my man, but what am i supposed to do if the other person doesnt go on with the conversation? Why do they hate me? I just dont get it.

I always feel like im the one that asks questions or start the conversation but people just dont react to it. Why dont they ask me questions? Why arent they interested in my life?

Not that i really care about them but i care about them caring about me (if this makes sense). I really feel like they are ignoring me. But why?

Hi /adv/
I need some help dealing with a private investigator, specifically what they by law have access to and what they can do with the information
And alternatively what charges I can press if they release my personal information to someone who could potentially put me in danger.

Long story short; I'm basically being stalked by someone with a long history of mental illness (paranoid schizophrenia). I've complied with 2 police investigations, proved I'm alive, sane and choosing to not contact this person for my own safety. The police have agreed to keep my information hidden from the person because of their state of mind.

This person now has hired a private investigator to find out my personal information and relay it back to them.
Now as far as I know, PI's can do what they want as they don't necessarily have to follow the same laws the police do.

Is there something I can threaten the PI with to make them back off? Can I press charges against them for passing my information to someone who's a hazard to me and mentally ill? I've tried contacting legal services, the police, social workers, etc... But no one can really help me until this person actually causes me harm.
Has anyone else been in this situation or know about laws concerning private investigating?

More than a week ago I my gf of 4 nad a half years broke up with me. I could've seen it coming and it wasn't a bad breakup. It was sort of a mutual agreement, but at the time it hit me really hard. She wanted us to stay friends and and out of what I believe was subconscious desperation I agreed. We still talk daily about dumb shit, memes shows and such, but a part of me is breaking down.
I do realise I have to distance myself from her for my own good, but I was always an incredibly lonely person, and I can barely talk to anyone else. She's kind of in the same position, but we've not once talked about the breakup since. She's incredibly casual about everything while I've had a few days gone drinking too much vodka and not eating. We met to watch a show and she told me I've been dealing with my situation maturely and I was screaming inside.
I want her to hate me, I want to hate her. I want some emotional outburst because I'm going to explode inside. The problem is she gave me no reason to to be angry with her and I don't think she desreves it, perhaps she's dealing with it in her own way.
I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I don't think I've been genuinely happy in life for the last 7 years, and she helped me pick up some pieces, but now I don't have anyone to talk to and am unable to deal with my emotions in any sort of way, only through alcohol and thoughts of self harm but I'm resisiting those since my teens when I was an attention whoring edgelord.
I ask if anyone has had a similar experience and any sort of advice is welcome.
