Depends on your hobbies and social groups, I have a very niche hobby(as in Im one of like 10 people in my country) and the only places i've found to discuss it is through facebook groups and some forums, it depends on what you want to do, its also nice to keep track of concerts/events though there might be another options depending on your local scene
