help me out fitizens
I was at an edm show tonight having a good time with my friends. When the headliner for the show came out a mosh pit had formed behind me resulting in one of my friends suffering a pretty serious blow to her head.
being the chad I am I decided that stepping behind her to push other moshers away to prevent her from getting hit again was the best thing to at the time.
Minutes later a security guard with no warning came up behind me and put me in a headlock. After freeing myself I was pushed towards the exit even though I was willingly leaving. Knowing that bouncers/security guards aren't legally allowed to do that and what happened seemed to be an unjustifiable act of assault and excessive force.
Do I have the right to pursue legal actions / should I?

My wife is obsessed with Sailor Moon, and I wanna make her a life-sized version of the titular character for her birthday.
What would be the best way to go about this?
I was thinking of buying a mannequin (I could probably get a decent one for under $100) and ordering a cosplay to put on it (I could get a decent China one for like $50) and paint her exposed skin peach. Maybe add some fake nails?
Then I'd make a mask "face," maybe starting with a papercraft base. Dunno how I'd do this.

I asked out the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with, the only one, my best friends ex, and he had a kid with her.

Depends on how often you are home. If you work 8+ hours a day, full time, then you absolutely should not get ANY dog. But you're probably dead set on it, so whatever. Just don't get a super active breed like a collie or lab, or they'll destroy your home while you're gone so much.
Rather than focus on breed, troll your shelters and find an adult dog who doesn't seem to be very hyper. Unless you're home a lot, in which case a hyper dog is fine. But a mature, adult dog with a chill personality is ideal for a working person,

About eight months ago I cut waaaaay back on the drinking, which let me finally quit smoking, about six months ago. My lungs cleared right up and now the next logical step is fitness. I am a complete novice though. Google search brought me only websites trying to sell me things. Please, give me some candid, hopefully seasoned advice on my goals and whether or not I can achieve them. I am femanon, if that helps.

Being fit is 80% diet
(Eat only healthy foods you phsyically cook yourself)
20% is working out, find a workout plan, body weight only if you must, but make sure you do cardio daily and do certain muscle groups per day for strength training. That is legs one day, back another, arms another, core another day, etc... Dont workout every body part every day, but do cardio every day you workout before and after strength training. Find a workout schedule (easily found online for free) that works for you. Stretch.
Most of all, exercise wont provide shit unless you dedicate to permanently changing your diet in a healthy direction.
ANY diet that is not meant to be permanent is FAKE AND BULLSHIT and will not help you lose weight in the long term.

So I moved into a one-bedroom apartment in February, and it's been great. Quiet, spacious yet cozy (for one person, anyway). Not super expensive, and looks great.
However, here in Georgia, it has been getting warmer and warmer this month. We didn't really have a Winter, and this week it has been hovering around 80 degrees. My apartment has a hotel-like air conditioning unit that does a great job of keeping the living room and kitchen comfortable, but it does fuck all back here in the bedroom.
It's super hot back here. I have been sleeping on my couch to avoid sleeping in the sweltering hot. It's ridiculous.
Any tips on getting an AC Unit in the front of my apartment to at least make a dent on the heat in the back? It's about 550 sq.ft.
It's also a shotgun-style floor plan. I'll include it next post.

The air conditioner is in the window at the front (bottom). Everything else is self explanatory.

Yeah - there's a fan above the bedroom door (like a vent fan) that pushes *some* air through, but changes 1-2 degrees, tops. Helpful, but I like it for the white noise more than the cooling factor, hah.

There's a guy I like who I have trouble communicating with. Conversation can be slow when I message him and I often get the feeling he's disinterested in me, but as soon as I mirror his witty and sarcastic conversational style, he's a lot more responsive and opens up to me a lot better.
Problem is I'm not a very quick thinker, and I'd like to get better at picking up on witty humour, and witty conversations in general. I consider myself to be more emotionally driven when it comes to communicating, especially if I like that person, but he just feels distant and cold when I try and be emotionally in-tune with him.
