so last night my crazy roommate got shit faced drunk, made some threats, and broke his door. one of the threats he made was directed at my landlord. landlord was not here, he told someone on the phone what he would do to the landlord. I told my landlord what happened, and about the threat.. its been a big deal for like the past 24 hours or so. crazy roommate threatened to kill landlord. i dont think hes serious, and he apologized profusely to me and her for his behavior. earlier today before the apology, i told my landlord about the threat. she said she would contact the police.. i said she should be careful because we dont know what roommate is capable of. i barely know my landlord. after i told her she should be careful, she sent me a text saying, she went to get her will done recently, and i am the beneficiary to the house in case anything happens to her... i barely fucking know her... i dont know what the fuck to do. please help me. she might like me.. i have no interest in her other than a friend maybe.. she seems to be all alone without family or anything. please help. pic unrelated

This happens to me quiet a bit. I'll make some friends. Goto their house hangout with them. Be a good friend. Then BAM. They'll say something / do something rude/mean. Then I have to be like. Wait why the fuck is this person my friend?

It's happening to such a degree that I'm starting to think that its more of relieving how I am as a person.

Am I just too good of a friend? Do I not call people out more and sorta beat them to the punch?

come to think of it . It almost seems the better I am as a friend. the more these people see me as a bitch. They test the waters. Then I'll sorta bite back.
Is this just human nature?

Alright, here we go.

So met a chick, went on a good first date and a great second date. We hit it off well, both dates lasted just over 4 hours. Back and forth flirting, touching, etc. Chick said something cute, "two for two on good dates," at a point during the second date. Made out for a while before just before dropping her off and ending the second date. She immediately agreed to a third date and gave me the ol' "text me?" thing.

Key thing was, I was an asshole during that second date. And she let me know it of course. We both had a cheeky smile about it, but she was still getting worked up at times.

Two days later, I text her and we start to have a normal text conversation. Mistake being, I was FUCKING TIRED. Like I could not think straight. Like the kind of tired where you sort of feel drunk but without having any alcohol? That. She starts telling me about a conflict she was having with one of her friends. I fuck up at this point and in my daze allow my empathetic side to take over and say some "I'm here for you" shit. Like I just took a shot of truth serum. She responds with, and I quote, "Haha thanks, you're sweet I like it." It looks like I tried to get back on track in a way by changing topic and later ribbing her about her sleeping habits, but I fear the damage is done.

So.... How boned am I? And how much should I dial up the asshole meter for the third date (which is still confirmed)?

I see a lot of posts on this website by guys trying to grow beards and they always get replies saying they're gross and shit. Is this a silent majority thing? Do most people think beards are gross? I think they're really cool. I'm just asking because I want to try growing mine out for the first time in my life.

I'm just worried that it will look like pubes. Apparently this can be avoided with coconut oil?

I've had this fantasy for years where I just take my amp out into the middle no where and just jam my guitar for hours. Any ideas on how I'd go about doing that ? without getting into trouble and shit

Had a stressful breakup with fiance of 5 years. Started breaking out like I never have before in my life.

Right cheek is really swollen large cysts and pusses this gross stuff occasionally. I don't eat unhealthy drink water and have been using acne scrubs in the shower but nothing is helping.

The scarring is the worst I've got a red cheek now, any advice? Killing my confidence meeting new people, if I go to my doctor or derm, could I avoid insane fees for medication and maybe laser treatment for scars if I claim it's making me depressed?

Hey /adv/, I need help here.

So, two weeks ago i started talking to this girl from my college (not same class), she gave me her number and we set up to go out in the weekend, it went very well, we talked a lot and eventually kissed, on Monday i thought she'd be all over me in college, but she seemed distant and indifferent instead, i didn't talk about it. Last weekend, we went out again, this time we ended up having sex in her house.
She was still completely aloof and indifferent about me in college yesterday even though we already had sex and she seemed to be into me a lot over the phone.
She was blowing me on Saturday but as i approached her yesterday talking to her friends and tried to peck her on the lips she turned her head around.

Today, i tried to have the "What are we?" talk and asked her what she wants, she said "I don't know" and "I liked you too but i'm trying to figure out the differences between us" or some shit like that, so i said "Okay, i'll you some space then so you can figure out if you want to continue this thing between us", she then replied "Please don't judge space as indifference".

So, what do you think?
That she legit doesn't know what she wants? She's just playing the field and doesn't want to commit? Am i being too clingy? What do i do now?

I failed engineering and now I have a liberal arts degree and a shitty 50k job. I hate it so much my coworkers are chill but the work is just boring soul crushing shit. Is this how life is supposed to be or should I quit and go to grad school / find another job?

I think ive developed a revenge complex and any time I get rejected it makes me fall into a deep seeded rage.

I was texting this girl I met off of tinder and everything was going great until she got mad at me for joking too much. She just started sending me one word replies to make me fuck off, so, being the person I am, when she showed disinterest I removed her as a friend from a few social media platforms and kept moving. It made me mad that I seemingly did nothing wrong and now all I want to do is make her feel how I feel. 5 hours or so go by and she calls me to ask why I deleted her and I told her exactly that without all the autistic revenge plot.

Has the years of being rejected made me a shitty person? Why do I take everything to heart?
