Hey, newfag when it comes to alcohol. How many 1 litre bottles of 60% would I need to get 4 of my friends drunk? They're all 16 as if it helps any. Mainly planning on getting one of the guys there completely smashed so I can sleep with him

I'm 30 years old and given up on finding any decent western women. Advice me on getting a qt Asian. What are the basics I need to know? Where do I go to find them and how do we hook up?

>>
Philippines has the best women. Not chinky, not junglebunny. Not to say they're pretty on average but they tend to have more prettier girls than any other Asian country thanks to substantial mixing from Asians, chinks and whites. Big plus is they speak English fairly well.

As for Asian culture, generally very family focused. Expect your Asian wife to be calling her family often.
>>
Japan > Korea
Korean women have VERY VERY high standards (even higher than fat western women) just because they have plastic surgery and spend hundred thousands on other aesthetic remodelling.

Japanese women barely or never have surgery, and will love a man for who he is rather than just how they look (although looks are still important, but not that much compared to Korea).

No clue on other Asian countries.

all women are gold diggers and this should be good enough if you want an Asian gf.

How do people get the energy to do things on their free time?

I'm having a day off from work and I was supposed to spend it cleaning up the house (this place is goddamn filthy, I haven't cleaned in months) and all I'm managing to do is lay in bed on my phone.

I'm trying to tempt myself to get up and put clothes on so I could go out for a smoke but it doesn't seem to be happening.

Only allow yourself to be on your phone/internet for 1 hour a day (not including if you need it for work)

you'd be amazed how much can be accomplished when you're not pissing away your life
>>
Everyone is different. Different folks need different levels & amounts of time for rest & recuperation, especially if your job is taxing or stressful.

If, however, you find that you generally stay in bed whenever you possibly can, that could be a sign of depression. Not cleaning in months can be another sign. Have you considered talking to someone about that?

It's ok to do nothing sometimes. But you could also try healthier lifestyle.

I'm going to disappear.

No one from my old life will find me. I'm slowly taking out all my cash in small bits, paid off my debts so no companies will come looking, and am reading up on everything I'm going to need.

I haven't figured out where exactly I'm going to go, but somewhere I can live simply, make money without too much of a hassle, and not too cold in case I need to sleep outside.

Currently doing survival training, camping for days in the woods. Working my body out to have the functional strength necessary to fight people or do manual labor if need be. I'm building up my little nest egg from which to disappear with.

Advice?

Don't know what the fuck you're planning on doing but actually learn to fight. Join a boxing/bjj/muay thai/mma gym and spar a bit if you see yourself fighting in the future for whatever reason. Sparring for the first time will make it very clear that fighting has more to it than being physically fit. Get your cardio right also

What do you wanna hear? Tons of younger women are into older men so its definitely possible.

What's your job?
>>
Have you been with someone your age? Have you fallen in love with someone your age?

Sure you don't choose what you're attracted to but virtually everyone has wriggle room if they expose themselves and develop reasons. The saying that love makes blind didn't come out of nowhere. No one finds >70+ people attractive when young, yet the elderly still fuck like crazy. In the end love and sex is about making a connection more than anything else, you can feel really drawn to someone in the bedroom that you would never masturbate to seeing a picture.

Are you an attractive youthful looking old man or just a normal gross one?

Hey /adv/, here's the situation.

I've been with my partner for 6 years, and been smoking weed recreationally for about twice that. She's smoked (rarely) in the past, but doesn't anymore. But she never had a problem with my usage, until recently. She's told me a few times now that she's worried about my drug use and that she thinks I might have a substance abuse problem.

I know that people who suffer from addiction issues often are incapable of seeing their own situation clearly, but I do not have a substance abuse problem. I take great care to smoke responsibly; I never smoke when I might have to drive, never when I have work the next morning, never to avoid dealing with something painful or difficult, and never before our son (3 y.o.) goes to bed. I smoke maybe 3-5 times a month, and a 1/4-oz lasts me well over a year, sometimes a year and a half. I know that I'm not abusing it.

But here's the thing, I don't think she's being manipulative or gaslighting me. She was in a long-term relationship with a hardcore alcoholic before she and I met, and it's made her extremely sensitive to these issues. So... what do? How can I talk to her in a way that's respectful of what she's gone through but also firm about my own usage?

The ony viable solution here is to break up OP. And don't bother communicating with her before that. It will only make this worse

>So... what do? How can I talk to her in a way that's respectful of what she's gone through but also firm about my own usage?

Two things:
1.) Relationships are about compromise.
2.) Actions speak louder than words.

You promise to cutback or take a break, show her it's not a big deal to you. And then do it. And then she knows it's different for you, and you get to smoke without there being shit tons of drama.

I have this roommate. Our dorm room is small as fuck and she's always in the room. She studies something stupid (biology) I study math and computer science. I spend all day in the library but sometimes I want to go home and be alone. But she's there.
When I went to the orientation, the guy told us:
Don't worry about how small the room is, you won't be spending time there anyway. But she does!
One time I asked her to go study somewhere else (when it was like 6 am and she was still up studying for a test because she sleeps 12 hours a day so of course she's not ready) and she said "no way".
I swear if I met her outside the dorms I maybe would think she is an ok person but now? I hate her so fucking much.
She is also vegan but eats only junk food, this is why she is fat and sleeps so fucking much.
And before you think she is just shy, she has some friends and she is not shy of me at all. She just takes advantage of me being polite. If she was shy no way would she keep me up at night for her stupid biology test.
I spoke to a guy that studied biology and he said it is literally the easiest degree in our uni. He could party and not do homework and still passed. Then I don't understand wtf she does in the room all day? Maybe she is retarded?
I want to kill myself

what fucking advice are you expecting? There is nothing you can do. Asking her to leave is stupid considering she lives there. I had a roommate my first semester that never left and also didn't shower which smelled up the room something awful. School is almost over so just deal with it for a few more weeks.
>>
>>18260663
there are a few things to unpack in your post
It seems like you might have a couple of valid complaints, but they're buried under mountains of spite and unwarranted hostility.

Your roommate spends lots of time in the dorm and doesn't leave when you ask her to?
Tough. It's her home too.

You don't like her major?
Another person in the same program said he finds it easy?
You don't like her eating habits?
Literally who fucking cares. This has nothing to do with you. There is no reason whatsoever for you to get upset over this.

The only - ONLY - thing you mention that is a legit complaint is that you said she keeps you up at night. That's a problem. That's a fair thing to talk to her about. But jesus christ, don't bring up any of that other irrelevant bullshit.

There's a guy at my workplace that I unexpectedly started to like. At first, he was a bit standofish, but after talking about all sorts of shit during our breaks he warmed up to me and we started coming in together at work and waiting for each other to go home when our work was done. I never really felt so comfortable just hanging out with a guy like this before and I soon realized that I want to be more than just coworkers or friends with each other. No need to warn me about not shitting where I eat, I'm only there for another month and then I'm quitting, but even if I wasn't there's no rules against fraternization where we work.

This is where the subject of the thread comes up. I'm 21 and he's 29 years old. I've had a few relationships and a few casual things in the past, and all of those were initiated by the guys who were interested in me. Yeah, I know, typical girl behavior. But now I find myself wanting to give a shot to going out with him and I want to come up to him first, but I'm worried that he might reject me because of our age difference. Now granted, the only comment he had on my age in the past was that he thought I was a bit older due to the job and general behavior, which I took as a compliment, since most girls my age are either in university or just doing with their lives.

Personally, I give no shits about his age. In fact, that'd be a huge plus for me if it turns out I want a long-term relationship with him, but I realize that's just thinking too far ahead of myself so I try to avoid doing that. The problem is I have no idea with what to rebut if he brings up my age, me being so young. I'm open to any suggestions about this.

Bottom line: wondering how to convince him to give us a shot if he brings up the age difference between us.

Guys like younger girls so I think you're fine. Seriously, it is in our DNA to want younger women. Ask him to get drinks or to go do something with you. If you invite him out he should get the message.

Also, how much do you weigh and how tall are you?
>>
>>18260526

>Guys like younger girls so I think you're fine.

Didn't bring this up in the OP because I was running out of space, but he never dated anyone that much younger than him. He's usually dated either someone his age, or a year or two younger/older than him. Asked around at our workplace to people who've known him longer than me.

>Also, how much do you weigh and how tall are you?

I don't really see what that has to do with anything, but 58kg and 175cm.
>>
>>18260536
You should be fine. Just make the first move and act accordingly after that.

Was wondering because I pictured you being fat for some reason

Is it normal to watch porn and masturbate so seldom that you kill your sex drive? Is there need for a thing such as "more-fap"?
11 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
If you don't have any sex drive to begin with how are you supposed to get it up to masturbate ?

How long has this been going on op ? Do you have a regular physical activity like a sport or lifting ?
>>
>>18260443
I do, but it's very sporadic. To the point where it's been so long since last time, I can't concentrate.
>>
>>18260448

>I do, but it's very sporadic

Wait, which thing, the physical exercise ? Why does not practicing make you unable to concentrate, I don't understand ?

Anyway, adrenaline is said to increase your sex drive, so a schedule with a bit more frequent high intensity exercise (something that actually makes you sweat) can help improve that situation, tho the symptoms are probably something entirely different that you should adress.

My sex drive was killed during periods of my life where I felt emasculated and worthless. Do you experience anything of the sort lately ?

Anyone do EMT-B training (in the US) or work as one?

What's it like?

How intense are the classes?

What does entry-level EMT work look like?

What are the advancement options after becoming a paramedic?
13 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
I have my license, but haven't actually worked in the field.

The classes aren't too bad, the tests are pretty tough.

Entry level EMT looks a lot like pretty much every level; your job will be the extremely critical. You will often be the 1st responder and best chance this person survives the next 10 minutes.

The only difference between you and a Para is they can give drugs, about a year and a half more school, and job security. If you like the job, take paramedic courses, they're in huge demand. My instructor, a paramedic, was hired on as Fire Chief during my class. So, paras are big fish in the public service pond.

Solid career choice, especially if you're not great with traditional schooling like me.
>>
>>18260422
Thanks for the response. Congratulations if you just passed your course.

>the tests are pretty tough
I've heard that. If you know, what was the pass rate of people in your class?

Also, do you feel like your classes prepared you mentally to deal with seeing and dealing with badly injured people? A medical-related career has always appealed to me, but I'm kind of squeamish and a bit concerned about that.
>>
>>18260422
Here in NZ it takes pretty much 4 years to become a paramedic (3 years study, 1 year internship). Not sure about EMT though, it's not a well advertised job and I think you can only do the training through an organisation rather than a polytech (where you do paramedic training). Some people just go straight from civilian to paramedic skipping EMT altogether

Hey guys currently I want a stable relationship, but Everytime I talk with a qt and start dating, 3/2 of them tell me at the 2nd date that they have a boyfriend and he doesn't know that they're dating me.

I don't want to be a reason for a guy to get his heart broken because it happened to me in a long distance relationship, so I just back off.

Why every girl is already taken? It seems impossible to find a single lady??

It's understandable because I'm a little above average good looking, but I think that if a girl left a boyfriend for me, she could do this to me too.

I would say it's about luck. It's not your fault that you keep landing on girls who don't tell you that they have boyfriends. If anything, that should be a red flag. Consider it 'dodging a bullet' that they told you. They could have already broke up with them in the midst of them seeing you and never telling you. Keep trying, famalam.

what can i do to make my bf's birthday extra special?
i got him a voucher for going to a day spa together ( he really loves doing that). i would have baked a cake for him, but his mom already made one and he doesn't really likes sweets anyways. i just want something that makes it a bit more festive when he gets home from work. more "yaaay it's your birthday" than "here's your gift, k, bye".
oh, birthday sex is not on the menu too sadly, because i got a stupid bladder infection...
i also wanted to cook his fav meal, but we're already invited to his mom's, so that idea got run over too.
any ideas?
