Hey /tg/, could you explain to me why exactly the Craftworld Eldars can't colonize a habitable planet or system and live there? Some Eldars did that, so what's keeping the Craftworld one's from it? I mean it sure seems a wiser idea to settle down in some nice, remote part of the galaxy and actually start rebuilding shit instead of just flying around with no purpose and whining about being a doomed race.
Why would they bother? There isn't really anything a typical planet could offer that they don't have on their craftworlds and it makes them an easy target for any of the various genocidal psychos who populate the 40k galaxy.
>>44667418
By all means, settle down and actually give the other races a chance to finally drive them to extinction. If a Necrontyr dynasty were to find an Eldar populated world, for example, there'd be nothing left shortly afterwards.
If they try to re-populate, they're actually putting themselves in further danger from Slaanesh and her influence, so without a need to expand their population there's no need to give up the inherent benefits a Craftworld offers.
>>44667418
Craftworlds are literally world sized. There are no advantages a planet has over one.
Hey /tg/ me and some of my friends are wanting to buy a box of magic and draft/sealed with them. We where thinking of either Conspiracy, Modern masters or MM2. Which box is the funniest? And which one has the most value?
>>44667206
>funniest
Unglued, but good luck getting those
>most value
MM/MM2, but good luck getting those
>>44667248
Store has both MM/MM2 boxes for sale but I forgot how much where the pricing. How fun is drafting mm/mm2? Are there any good boxes to draft for both fun and value?

Bump for interest.
So many eons, so much time. I have slept for over 60 million years, and my Tomb must now awake. But something feels...diffrent, like I have forgotten something.
I'll start from the beginning, perhaps that might help...

Is classical music approved in the Imperium of Man? I try every day to live up to the Emperor's ideals in real life, but sometimes it gets really hard to decide on things like this.
Help me /tg/.
If it was made by a good, Empra-fearing human, it is accepted
>>44666516
Is there a time cutoff? Does that mean pretty much everything made prior to the 20th century is ok?
In one of the Ravenor books, an Interrogator (Inquisitor in training) was playing music for enjoyment and was listening to a light opera about the Horus Heresy.

It's a nice system which is well-established and well thought-out, stifled by caster supremacy. Get rid of that by removing casters without removing the potential for their abilities, and you might have something quite nice.
So, I've been out of the loop for a bit, lacking a lot of money to invest during 7th edition (a full unit of clanrats is/was expensive) and just fucking flipping the table over completely during End Times, but I'm curious: Has Age of Sigmar actually caused an increase in sales for GW? do we have any insight?
I'm asking because I've been unable to actually find anyone who plays the game. (Actually that's not entirely true. I know of one person, but he's such a git, that he really doesn't count)
We've all been kinda hoping for the complete collapse of the company for a while now, you know, deep inside, but how far are we from that actually happening?
Lets all bitch about GW general I suppose

[1 Week has passed, Advent Mech wreck reverse engineer has been completed]
"Commander, while this Advent alloy is relatively decent against conventional bullets, it is highly resistant against Laser weaponry, I suggest processing some of our wrecks to have more available alloys. I can integrate these Alloys into our body armours."

Intel:
-Secondary bases: (Potential base in U.S.S Aegis)
-Established contacts: Egypt
-Chance of being detected: 5% (This increases with every mission, heavy increases if the aliens captures a live soldier. It will gradually decrease by laying low or eliminating potential threats in certain parts of the globe.)
-Field operatives can establish contacts in several parts of the globe. This will make future missions easier in said parts
-More field operative in our base means we can detect a threat or an opportunity much faster, increasing our expenses helps too.
-Field operatives are the hardest to get by. Grey Market might help us in finding potential Operatives.
-Intercontinental travels are always dangerous with the skyranger, If it got shot or disabled, we will lack our only mean of transportation.
Mission Log:
Arms factory raid in Argentina [Success]
Raid on a containment Facility in Austria with Exalt Forces [Success]
Termination of a press in the united states [Success]
Research:
>Alien Materials [Requires 10 Sci,10 Eng 100 Alien/Advent weapon fragment, 100 Alloy, 100 Elirium, 2 Mil, 1 Month] Our understandings of these alien materials were lost twenty years ago, to fully uncover their potential, we need to thoroughly research them, commander.
>Advent weapon fragments II [10 SCI, 10 ENG, 150 Advent weapon fragment, 1 Mil 2 weeks] Commander, we believe we can take a step forward, we can assemble these fragments to create weapons of our own. we will still use conventional ammo but its efficiency is ten folds better than our current arsenal
>Advent grunt autopsy [Requires 5 Sci, 500k, 3 Advent corpses, 1 week] : Commander, This advent regular soldier or grunt is one of our very common enemies in the battlefield. From what we have seen so far, they are carbon copy of each other. Still, it is a wonder of genetic modification.
>Advent captain autopsy [Requires 7 Sci, 700k, 1 Advent corpse, 10 days]: From what we have seen commander, this advent captain was created to lead. Its neural structure is more advanced than the regular solider. We need a fresh body to unlock the secrets inside him.
>Advent armor [Requires 5 Sci, 5 Eng, 800k, 10 damaged armour OR 5 undamaged one, 10 days] The advent armour is quite resilient, commander. Studying its properties might help us in the future to create armours of our own.
