No title? That's disappointing.

Editionless Edition?
>>46256932
Guess so?
Hey /tg/ so I have been writing my very own Space Opera setting and I was wondering what kind of weaponry we may have when we could move fast as light. I already straight ripped the little doctor from the Ender's Game setting but i was thinking more on a personal level. I also figure augment and cyberpunk like guns are a staple and I added Mecha and Star fighters because I love those. So any ideas on what else we would have around that time frame other than las guns.
An oil that you spray on a blade with a particular chemical makeup to give it a mono molecular edge.
DNA guns: guns that shoot a massive "beam" of Toxic pathogens that can knock out, cripple or even kill but only to a target that is "registered" in the gun, all other people will be completely immune.
Generally only wanted felons are registered in DNA guns though there is a market for jailbroken guns.

What sort of scale are we talking about here? Personal, armored warfare, spaceships...any and all of the above?
>>46256682
All of the above man I'm taking any and all ideas
I feel like halflings (as distinct from Tolkien hobbits) would be more interesting if you made them into the civilized cousins of goblins. They could be sort of like how hobgoblins are to orcs, but more laid back. It'd give them some more distinction from both gnomes and humans societally.
What do you think?
>>46255260
Pulp fiction was an amazing work of art and we should be glad for it's existence.
Going by what I see their distinction from gnomes is usually that they're more rural and like the simple things. For humans it's mostly just that they're really short because humans tend to do basically everything anyway. All I'm thinking what you're talking about would mean is they'd probably be green or something
>What do you think?
I think that killing yourself is the objectively the morally correct thing to do, OP.

What's your least favorite book? Hard mode: No Beast or Changing Breeds.

>>46254941
Welp, looks like you were first. I guess we'll just use this one.
As an actual answer to the question, I guess I'd have to say Werewolf's first edition core book. Second edition is fine, but 1e was a mess and seems hardly playable, if you ask me.(Mostly because of the linearly-purchased gifts that switch Renown with every dot)
>>46254874
I don't know, Mummy?
Mostly just because I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it.
Chronicles of Fagness
Ok here's the deal, I'm running a 5th edition game set in Rome where to goal is to KILL JESUS. Since it is easter we're going to KILL JESUS with a party that has completely different alignments and is ALL LEVEL 1
Comments, suggestions, and thoughts are welcome. Also THIS IS HAPPENING in REAL TIME motherfuckers.
>killing a guy who won't even resist, and forgives you regardless of what you do, since you do not know what it is you do
Wow, what a challenge.
edgy

Is there ever a tactful way to handle rape in a campaign?
ask your players first, you should always obtain consent before you rape
>>46254379
A setting in which rape doesn't exist is not only stupid, but childish.
If the setting or situation calls for rape, then it should be used. It doesn't need to be described in detail or made into some magical realm shit.
It's like how Fallout is full of every post apocalyptic evil except rape. After you realize it, it just stands out sorely. In a world where torture, gore, murder, mass murder, kidnapping, extortion, blackmailing, thuggery, assassination, prostitution, etc are all common and seen everywhere, why is there no rape? Makes zero sense.
>>46254379
probably notIf only....
"Hey, is that another one of your tricks?" Haruko seems confused.
"Which one?"
"That glowing door."
We turn around, and are confronted with a glowing blue door suspended in mid-air.
I am Itsukuma Masami. I've almost given up on trying to save Asai from being a massive weirdo monster.
Almost. I'm still scheming on ways to save him.
I'll do it, someday!
I succeeded in stopping his rampage which was destroying the city and everything in it that I hold dear.
This was accomplished by trapping him inside of a prison and attempting to talk some sense into him.
Well, 'him' being a descriptive term. Asai was actually made of two parts, a monster part and.. a part of him which looked like a big armored guy. Our group-therapy session went.. less than optimal. The two parts hated each other, and Asai took the opportunity to absorb the other half back into himself.
According to Mom, this made him far more powerful. I'm skeptical, to say the least.
So now, we just left him inside his prison and are now sulking before heading back home.
Before something strange happened.
"Did you make that door?" The blue door hovers in mid-air.
"Nope."
Mom looks toward me, "Did you make that door?"
"Of course not, why would I make a door into nothing?"
The knob starts to turn, and the barrier swings open.
Out steps..
"Honey, I'm home." A big smiling grin greets me. Behind him is clearly the interior of the card as he steps out of imaginary space and into reality as effortlessly as a fish swims through water.
Asai.
I-
I think I'm going to be sick.

The great exodus edition
Stormcast, Einherjar in great armor; space marine, biomodification super soldier in great armor. This sum up everything.

Proxy, bruh
So I'm back from my vacation, and couldn't find our new thread... shame. I DID find our 1d4chan page
https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Golden_Spectres
With several mistakes, no real info and a character we had not discussed yet... oh well, here is the last thread
>>46013278
lets pick up where we left off, also some one named the world and the chapter is clearly vietnamese now, which I am fine with... but research needs be done to see what traditions we can 40Kify from said country... WE BACK
>>46253608
Last thread had SOME good stuff in it, plus the 1d4chan page was set upI tried man, I did
>>46253895
I meant the page didn't have much, last thread was great! There just wasn't another onle like there was supposed to be... and its fine, thanks for tring
>>46253938
Hey, a page is better than none. Plus it gives us definable goals. speaking of which, we should probably tackle some.
Let's start with something easy like organization
I'm running a sandbox pirate game, and it's been pretty good so far (8 sessions).
Tell me about your pirate campaigns and ideas you might want to share: plots, encounters, NPCs, anything will do.
Also, ships and pirates art.

First for force-feeding the World Eaters
>>46250294
I wonder what was Angron's reaction to this. I know Horus probably wasn't too happy about it.
First for Dorn is a faggot.
Who the fuck are they kidding?
>The Dark Angels actually wanting to destroy the Space Wolves
Wow.
>>46248062
No one, it seems like a very self aware joke. Cheer up.
>>46248216
If it's a self aware joke, wouldn't they be kidding everyone?

third panel is also kinda worth notice as a self-contained joke
How do you make a ruthless tyrannical princess that in not the BBEG?
>>46245440
Have them be right.
>>46245440
She's a tyrant because she doesn't respect the lord-vassal relationship.
Turns out the vassals are shitters, and who cares about the nobility?
>>46245440
Just make them on the same side as the protagonist and make the enemies worse.
Ever played with a typical "meathead" or a typical "bimbo"?
How did it go?
>>4624468
one time an ant came onto the table and i tried to pet it but i crushed it :/
[Cake playing in background]
>>46244685
I had a meathead sit down and join us back in high school for a few sessions once because he'd seen us chuck dice and talk shop during lunch and figured he'd at least give it a try before making fun of us. He played a bard and considered himself to be, in-character, a rock star, and thus fully capable of getting "the bitches". It was actually pretty fun and our Stick-up-the-ass Sorcerer hated it. He said that he'd play if he saw another game around, but probably wouldn't pursue it.
