In my LGS, many people started to play it when Magic decks were expensive (Khans Stardard). Then after rotation, most players stopped playing it and came back to Magic when Shadows over Innistrad came.

In responce to raids from the Pacharnati Empire, the largest and most populous nation in Eyerdar, the Occidental Alliance(Us - the White Republic, the Kaichou Empire and the Sunset Alliance) has jointly declared war and deployed its colonial forces.
After several smaller skirmishes our forces dug in and awaited winter's passing.
It is now spring and the snows have started to melt. Our forces have been deployed across a wide front to protect our outlying colonies from pacharnati attacks. We now have the initiative.
White Republic forces available:
20 ships of the line and 15 frigates
5000 well equipped, mounted officers
7 000 rangers
6000 Maargard
10 000 Stormborn
10 00 Blitzkriegers
20 000 cavalry - hussars,lancers,dragoons and cuirasseurs
80 000 Line infantry
40 000 Colonial militia infantry
Artillery corps and field medics of the order of St. Roise
We have ample reserves available if need be.
Our land forces are split into three armies, our navy is reinforced by an additional 18 ships of the line and 12 frigates from our allies. The land forces they've deployed are 120 000 for each.
Now we must decide on a plan of action.
A.Distract the enemy with attacks on the mountain passes, advance our forces along the coast
B.Distract the enemy with attacks on the coast and try to force the mountain passes then
C.Full-on offensive on every front, overwhelm and crush them!
D.Another plan

They needed to expand more on the Harlequin troupe, I couldn't mind if they were part of some ultra elite troupe among the Harlequins getting so near to the Eternity Gate. But some regular assholes with little exposition undercuts the reputation of the Custodes.
I don't dislike that it happen, its just how it happened.

1v1 or 2v1 is reasonable. 7v12 is just Eldar wank, even if they have the element of surprise, which shouldn't work past the first two or three Custodes as they're you know, CONSTANTLY ON ALERT SINCE IT'S THE FUCKING THRONE ROOM.

Stage 120: The Price and the Cost of Secrets.
Being the chosen executor of Amaterasu-Omikami's will to destroy important pats of Japan is not something you really wanted. Being a (mostly) moral and (fairly) kind hearted individual, you can see how someone who is going to do the job while doing the least amount of harm is at a disadvantage compared to someone who will just get the job done and damn the consequences. But that would make you more like Susano-Oh, and that guy is a dick.
More importantly, it has a tendency to lead people such as, oh, Ryuu Shinju to presume that you're a pushover. You've done a lot less killing and a lot more intimidation recently, though you did manage to impress one of the Twin Generals of Clan Ryo. The people you have killed, you have killed in secret, so most people aren't actually aware of how dangerous you are any longer. You're young and gaining power quickly, but you've only demonstrated that power to a select few. That makes this particular situation very dicey.
Ryuu Shinju is one of the three overseers of Clan Ryo, all of whom report to the spy master Himeyuri. She is a spirit-child born of a dodomeki youkai, the hundred-eye demons that see all and whisper secrets to cause trouble. It makes her immune to the power of elemental eyes of other spirit-children, while allowing her to see and be aware of everything hidden from even those potent visions. It's a little unfortunate because she's seen what Amaterasu-Omikami has written upon your cheeks. While Oh-sama might be aware of that as well, she's also aware that you have power not even the kami are allowed – the ability to direct true lightning from the clouds. She's smart enough to be very aware of what betraying your secrets means.
>>46901221
Shinju has no such compunction, but she has a secret of her own – you might be the only person who has guessed at her true lineage, which means you are aware that she holds many more secrets than anyone should or anyone else is aware of. That she has so many secrets and isn't dead already suggests that she knows when to keep her mouth shut. At the same time, she's been preparing some kind of potion, concoction, or spell while you've been having tea with her. The threat of revealing how much she might know was enough to make her seriously consider a fight with you, despite the fact that she knows you are immortal (thank you, dear wife!) and that your power is balanced enough that you're a serious threat even though you are not wholly a demigod yet.
The fact that you and she are sitting in the garden area of Mikimoto Pearl Island a little after noon while the blissfully ignorant humans wander the walkways just beyond the trees and flowers of the garden is most likely planned on her part, but it doesn't mean that either one of you wouldn't be able to erect a Barrier instantly. Perhaps she was counting on you being reasonable, which is a fair assessment. You like being reasonable, it's a lot less bloody and it's hard to being the dead back to life. On the other hand, she holds a secret that could set Oba-san off and cause you a lot more trouble much sooner than you want.
She remains still, watching you with those piercing eyes of hers as she rests one hand on the cup of half-tea and half-tears, her steel-vaned fan closed and resting on her lap in one hand. You are seated more casually and unarmed, which would be a disadvantage for anyone but a Water dragonette. Shinju is undoubtedly aware of your left arm's unusual nature, and catching her by surprise with speed is most likely impossible.
>>46901245
Of course, that ability of hers also means she's been aware of Oba-san's true nature right from the start. How deeply involved in the snake priestess' plans is she? Does she fear Oba-san, or serve her willingly? Hard questions, with important answers.
[] Break the tension by drinking tea and admitting you'll trust her.
[] Probe carefully by asking her what she thinks of Oba-san's plan.
[] Ask her when the last time she fought was instead of using secrets against someone.
[] Find out if she spoke to Oh-sama after the Twin Generals retreated.
[] Take a small test of her prowess by launching a simple but effective strike or two.

Well, /tg/, I think I just lost a gf of 4 years. My fucking fingers are shaking typing this, I am telling you because only /tg/ can understand this feel. I fucking love MtG and all that other dumb shit just like you do just like eveyrone on this board does. It's a whole world of stuff I've been into since I was 15.
Tonight she came home from work and we had sex for probably the last time ever and afterward she thought it would be good to discuss marraige as pillowtalk.
She wants chidlren and it was fucking stupid that we never discussed this before and i told her that I didn't want children because it would encroach on gaming time. I play RPGs 3 times a week, I WOULD NOT have time for all this if we got married and produced small children. I have a friend who had a kid last year and he ended up quitting our group and now every time I see him HE IS FUCKING DEAD IN THE EYES. I talk to him and his voice is different. I swear to god, the look in his eyes is begging me to kill him and release him from torment. I don't want to end up like that /tg/
My parents are going to be really pissed when they find out, this is the only girl they ever approved of and now they are going to find out I won't be giving them grandchildren and they will probably cut meout of their will and not invite me to thanksgiving dinner anymore.I can't even type out all the fucking consequences this is going to have. We had a 3 hour argument about this and she told me I'm a fucking Manchild. Well you know what bitch? I AM A MANCHILD AND IAM PROUD OF IT SO YOU CAN FUCKING KILL YOURSELF
I hope she's out fucking one of her work friends right now. I hope I am legitimately being cucked right now. I fucking hate cuck fetish but I want it now so I have an excuse for HER to be the bad guy because SHE is the one trying to ruin my life. FUCK women and their need to squirt spawn from their holes.
/tg/ I need advice from you on what to do right now. I can afford the rent by myself but it will cut into mygaming funds, but that's not that big a deal as I didn't spend that much anyways. I am really scared right now /tg/. Is every woman going to be like this? I am 25 so it is getting to be too late, all my friends are married or in longtermrelationships. Am I better off alone?
Weak bait, but guaranteed replies.

Honestly I've never really seen much outside of your medieval Europe, weaboo East or pure Fantasy whatever. At this point I assume pretty much every culture has some support out there but I haven't seen it.
If I had to choose something different for my next campaign I'd probs go for some sort of offbeat fantasy or scifi Western. I saw Bone Tomahawk, 3:10 to Yuma and True Grit recently so I've got a hankering for something more.

>>46892825
>Who was your last character you made?
I've actually just gotten to make my first character recently, which is pretty exciting! I've run nWoD before, but never gotten to play a game.
Only problem is, it's for a Mage game, and we're waiting for 2e to come out before we start so that we don't have to teach the other players the game's rules twice. I've got the mortal parts all stated out, and I've got copious notes about the character, but now I have to wait anxiously for the book to come out so I can put on those finishing touches. It's killin' me.
>>46893049
Tell us all!
I haven't made any characters in a while now. It's disappointing.
I really need to run a game, but I'm worried that anything I decide to run won't interest me in six weeks, much less six months. I don't want to run a game that I won't stick with, but I can't think of any good ideas for a game. I really want to run the Changeling 2e stuff, but there's no Hedge rules. Everything else I'm really interested in requires a lot of homebrewing.
I don't want to start a game and then never follow through with running it, or worse, drop it a few sessions in.

So a few days ago I was talking to a friend about the settlement of Attawapiskat in Northern Ontario, which has declared an emergency because of literally hundreds of suicides, ten attempts in one day at one point. From that I had the following idea for a setting
> All people are slightly psychic
> individually, they can do nothing
> but when thousands, or even millions, are crammed together in cities their collective unconsciousness can
> Their urban legends create monsters
> and their negative emotions fuel
them
> However their collective will to live also creates a 'personification' of the city, which tries to keep it alive
> small towns have weak protectors which fight off one or two monsters
> While cities like New York or Tokyo have super-powerful protectors who fight off hundreds of foes
> if they die the city goes full Attawapiskat until a new personification is born
> the idea would be a campaign where several low-to-mid-ish level personifications must team up for some purpose
And that's all I got so far.
Please feel free to add to the lore or describe your own citiesDisclaimer 1: Attawapiskat is a native settlement, I've seen where these sorts of threads can go so /pol/acks please restrain yourselves
Disclaimer 2: I know this is not the most original idea (pic related) rest assured if I am ripping something off it is unintentional
I like it!
How do the personifications interact with the world? Are they in their own plane of reality? Or do they just walk around like normal people?
>>46884794
>where several low-to-mid-ish level personifications must team up for some purpose
Just to comment on this, but maybe it has to do with incorporation?
Several smaller towns are forced by economic or municipal reasons to incorporate into a single city?
Or maybe the reverse is true, where a city's boroughs and outlying areas feel like they would do better as separate entities due to gentrification or changing demographics, and now there's a surge of monsters from the negative emotions and stress, even as the city personification suffers from a fragmenting personality.
>>46884869
They walk around their cities and can interact, however insert standard 'unusualness filter' so their fights or oddities aren't noticed. I just like imagining Toronto or someone hanging out on billboards or inside fast food stands
Does anyone know if there has been any word from the guy who played the headmaster last night?
