Not really, we've had Xeno infiltrators, Chaos infiltrators, Villains, Heroes, Normal Guardsmen, Crazed Guardsmen, Assassins, Psykers, Space Marines, Inquisitors, Squats... just think whathever and join the fun.

Yes as long as you don't use it to powerplay.

We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.
It's important to know that the regiment is now in the employ of a radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, with influence from an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor and under the watch of an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor. Yes we've been through a lot of shit.

There are many, many circumstances with Astra Militarum partners with Astartes. IG is just a bunch of normal guys so sometimes they need a chapters support.

I see a lot of dumbfucks and turbo autists here holding up DEPENDS ON THE SETTING as a mantra like the left uses the word privilege.
It does not, in almost all cases, depend on the setting. FOR EXAMPLE: If someone asks about orks and doesn't specify they mean 40k. For fantasy stuff, people mean D&D. It is very easy to work out from context if it is Eberron, FR, etc.
There are not so many settings out there that you can't use your brain and work out which one is meant.
So when you bleat DEPENDS ON THE SETTING what you really mean is:
1) LETS TALK ABOUT MY FAVOURITE ANIME/VIDYA/NOVEL
2) LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY HOMEBREW SETTING/SELF PUBLISHED NOVEL
3) LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT SOME OBSCURE HIPSTER GAME NOBODY FUCKING CARES ABOUT OUTSIDE OF POLYGON/RPS/SUSD PRAISING THE FACT IT HAS A BLACK GAY ELVEN COLLEGE PROFESSOR WHO IS A MEMBER OF THE ACLU AS AN ICONIC

So /tg/, I'm planning to use the Feywilds in my campaign soon. I've already read the general specifics of what it is and how it fits in the canon D&D world, particularly how time can be weird, which I'm planning to use as a plot point.
I imagine that, aside from elves, the Feywilds would be almost like your storybook forest, with those classic fairytale creatures and magic, and things like pic related running around here and there.
I remember reading something about elves being bigger and making the characters feel like children, with everything being bigger than it should be, and was thinking of including it.
Any additional ideas or suggestions for a novice DM to utilize this cool place as best I can?

It is, in part.
It takes a lot of cues from 4e, but it also takes a lot from 3rd and 2e. It really is an amalgam that takes a lot of the structure of 3rd edition, the feel of the relatively lighter mechanics of 2e, a bunch of the more modern gaming ideas of 4e, and adds some new ideas of its own to produce a product that ends up better than all the parts put into it.
The only edition that might still claim to be better is 2e if you wish to evaluate a game by its lore, but 5e has considerably better mechanics and ultimately it's actually really easy to convert 2e material into 5e.
