Did Magic just die?
Wizards just killed most of their professional players--figuratively speaking.
Can the beast survive without a head?
>>46900067
We ought to expect a decline of some fashion, yes.
It'll take a couple more decisions in quick succession along the lines of this and the Eldrazi reckoning to actually kill the beast that is MtG though.
What are we upset about now?

Did Kai have any positive impact on Danai Liao-Centrella?
I noticed he bequeathed his favored mech to her.
>>46890093
Well he probably didn't rape her if that's what you mean.
From a distant star system you watch as your Armada defends itself and those it calls its subjects.
Creating Generals of heroic might and cunning to be the leaders and defenders of the New Necrotic Armada in your absence was a decision well made it would seem. Horizon's Drop has been defended, the Osjiic fleet reduced to scrap and the army captured and jailed in the various prisons the Armada necessitated. The system containing Station 88 prevented from returning to Confederate hands by the bluffing of Predator Eiton and the timely arrival of the Armatocere. Even now in Bastion, home of the ructu and Lavafather the sisters Agona and Muic clash with the waves of Ahkam ships and soldiers that appear throughout the system.
You leave the defense of your Empire in their capable hands and turn your attention to defending a newly made allies system. Sapling Slrrt had contacted you after your fleets arrival at the edge of their system. As Nails and sub-capitols rushed into battle with the patrols of Yuyut fighters and wardrones the floral ambassador informs you of Jors decision to accept a formal alliance with the powerful faction. At first you were annoyed with Jors brashness but this partnership had been a long time coming as it was.
Now as your fleet moves into the system proper you are hailed by the Armatocere picket fleet centered around their main world, welcoming you to the system and warning that the enemy fleet had been detected in a neighboring system massing to attack. The Fury of the Wormstar, the colossal bioship who's belly you rode in, stretches out its massive armored limbs and gnashes its ship-destroying beak in building excitement.
Finally the Beast would live up to it's new name, eager to prove itself and bring terror to these alien invaders. It's mind was cruel and malicious, a perfect fit for what would surely become a greatly feared legend of the New Necrotic Armada.

Where did this ''barbarians are beasts in head on combat'' meme come from? Historically speaking most barbarians romans fought with as well as vikings relied mostly on element of surprise and ambush and usually got shitstomped when they tried to fight actual soldiers why are fantasy barbarians not utilizing any of it? It's smarter than HURR GONNA GO 1v50 xD. To be fair Celts were indeed frienzed half naked lunatics but they still got rekt.

Stand stats: http://pastebin.com/rYUsbyni}
You slam the door in the little girl's face, pulling Rai away from the room, as the colour bleeds out of his hair, his shoulders losing the new width he'd just gained.
He squints, staring down at his hands, now line with wrinkles and varicose veins. "I'm starting to think... that I made a mistake..." He mumbles in a feeble voice.
A patient passes, staring at Rai as you press him to the wall, his knobby knees needing support to keep him standing.
Knuckles rap on the door to the nurse's break room, a child's voice calling out, high and clear. "C'mon, c'mon! Don't you want to make me pa~aaaaay?" She asks in a singsong sneer. "Just come get me, then we can pla~aaay!"
You clench a fist, 『Kiss From a Rose』 bursting out from you, silently waiting for an order. Another nurse passes by, a few crows feet pricking up below her eyes as she passes the door, before she walks through your stand, shivering and clutching her arms as she keeps walking.
A stand that leeches youth. And it doesn't even seem to need contact, since you haven't seen it manifest yet.
>Get Rai out of here, you need Angie's help

>Last time on The All Guardsmen Party:
Spot the Wonder Drone flashed upwards, sliced through the crackling green shield surround the Daemonthrope, and slammed into the thing's underbelly. As Spot's psi-suppressor, er, penetrated the creature's hide, it let out a roar of unfathomable pain and fury, its shield vanished, and the daemonid minions around us collapsed into goo. We all cheered again and watched, the inky black tendrils holding the Daemonthrope aloft twisted, flickered, and then… reappeared.
We stood there, waiting to see what would happen next, and then flinched when the Daemonthrope let out a roar and fired a bolt of green lightning at someone on the surface. Nubby swore, Twitch groaned, Fumbles started whimpering, and Tink asked if anyone could see what was happening to Spot. Doc remained calm though. The medic looked at the rest of us, and then in a stuffy voice (because he STILL had that damned scalpel in his face) said:
>So… unless someone has a better plan, I say we shoot it until we're out of ammo, and then run away if that doesn't work.
None of us did, of course, so we all gathered together, opened fire, and hoped like hell that the Daemonthrope didn't have much juice left in it. As we fired, we couldn't help but notice that only one person up on the surface was firing with us, and they weren't using a pulse weapon.
Up on the surface, Sarge pulled the pin on the Astartes-sized krak grenade he'd "borrowed" and hoped like hell this was going to end better than the last time someone had tried it...

Been refreshing the tg page for 14 minutes straight waiting for this.
You fidget awkwardly, testing your tea to buy time - still too hot, alas. “Well, uh-”
“Tell me,” she says, squeezing your wrist, her eyes imploring you desperately. “*Please.*”
“Well... like Mikasa, I guess.”
She blinks. “What?”
“That's where you belong,” you tell her. “A museum berth. You all do. You all fought your wars, and now... you deserve to rest.”
She blinks. “But... but the abyssals-”
“That's why we *need* you,” you say sternly. “And Christ knows, we need you girls, but - did you really think we wouldn't *want* you?”
“Yes,” she says quietly.
The mug is starting to burn your hand, but you grip it tightly anyways, unable to trust yourself not to slap the blasphemy out of her mouth. “How the-”
She drags her chair closer to you, bumping her knees against yours. “I... I'm going to show you something.”
“... I know all about the faeries,” you say sternly. “And if it's where your planes come from, I don't-”
“That one's so old I don't even bother with the witty retorts anymore,” she says - it almost sounded stern. “Now... just...” she takes a deep breath. “Just... look, okay?” This close, you can see the flush in her pale cheeks even in the dark.
“Shou-” you begin, but she's already turning her face away from you, eyes closed, flush deepening. With her left hand, she pulls down the collar of her loose nightgown, revealing her small, bare shoulder and collarbone. “Shoukaku, what the-”
She takes your captive wrist and presses your hand flat against her collar. Before you can pull away, you feel it - the small spot that throbs with unnatural heat. Yanking your hand away, you see it - it's actually glowing, ever so faintly, soft amber light barely detectable unless you look askance.
“Chrysanthemum,” you whisper softly.
She nods - and swallows nervously. “The Emperor's symbol. It marks me as his servant... his property. Kaga and the rest that fell at Midway... they still had hope of victory, at least. They sacrificed the rest of my sisters as decoys, hoping to get their 'decisive action',” she spits bitterly, “and were humiliated by a handful of tiny gunboats and escort carriers. They were thrown away - for vainglory, for desperate gambles. I don't feel like I held a line, Settle. I was just a tool for the Emperor's glory, and...” she swallows again, squeezing her eyes shut tightly as tears trickle down her cheeks. “And I come back, and only Goto's treated me any different... and you. How am I supposed to believe they won't just... *discard* me, again?”
>>46804480
SETTLE HAS SHIT TASTE IN 2HU'S
The words sink deep into your head, vanishing into dark depths like poison pills dropped down a well. You shudder as the pantomime of the abyssal ships plays out in your head again - the eager, cute little shipgirl, battered, bloodied, still excited, still happy and proud to be useful... and the callous, quick way his hand - *your* hand - slashed out her name, before moving on to the next victim.
[ ] ... maybe they have a point. BB-3 was ripped from her museum berth, raped, gutted, and left for dead. Even America's done that to ships that deserved better. How can I shrug them off, when my own charge is echoing their words?
[ ] ... no. No. NO. There's a difference, a line, and it's neon fucking orange. You came back to defend those you loved - even if it was only your comrades, and not your nation. They came back to kill and murder, indiscriminate and wild. They are traitors. Traitors to everything that matters, traitors to everything they once aspired to.

This is what I think of you people and your thread.
Anyone willing to help me balance the cost and wording of powers/abilities for my The Fountain Jump?
CONCIOUSNESS TIER
Sense of the now -area awareness
Sense of the then - object and room reading
Sense of the soon - ten second precog
Perfect time - you have a perfect awareness of time
TEMPORAL TIER
Borrowed seconds - every year you gain twelve seconds to spend as you wish. You may store them up. They can be used to give you extra time to do something or to extend a time limited ability
Stolen moments - you may distract someone and make time jump forward for them without them noticing
Time apart - you may take a ten minute time out
Time out of mind -you may send a thought or question to your past self in the hopes that they will be able to answer it before they become you. You will know instantly in they succeeded. 140 character limit
part 2
SPIRITUAL TIER
The departed speak to the recently dead: as long as a person has been dead no more than a week, you may speak to them as if they were still alive.
Sooth extreme emotions: You have achieved inner calm and can project it as long as you are not currently experiencing any strong emotion yourself. Merely being in someone’s presence is enough, but physical contact, oratory or song, or just allowing them to see you can all boost the effect.
Grant absolution: If you can convince someone to pour out their deepest fears, regrets, or sins to you, you can grant them true absolution, allowing them to forgive themselves and move on. This does absolutely nothing for you as it does not work if you make it conditional
500 years of Practice: you have spent 500 years mastering and beyond mastering any singular skill or artform. Sure you are absolutely obsessed with it, but that will fade as the jump comes to an end.
PHYSICAL TIER
Perfect health & Regeneration:
Energy state: once per jump you may become pure energy and reincarnate yourself at will.
All together now. You may choose to absorb the personality of any self into a gestaltrn whole

> Have you ever used non-hostile dragonblooded?
This question smells of borderline bait. Have you ever used non-hostile elves?
But yes. I've had non-Immaculate-Faith dragonblooded of several sorts, and from the Realm and nominally believing in the Immaculate Faith, there were still:
drunken tourist dragonblooded who didn't want to start shit, merely enjoying the weird outland scenery
city-ruling dragonblooded who just taxed the solar craftsman and sat back to enjoy the flood of money and pretend nothing was wrong (and that tax was frankly a gouge by local standards, but the Solar was happy to pay it and not have trouble)
captive dragonblooded who were willing to rethink things on the grounds of having been rescued from deathlord by solar
mercenary dragonblooded who salved their conscience by telling themselves that they weren't really working with the Anathema for pay, oh no, they were taking the Anathema's money to spy on the Anathema, which is totally fine amirite

Before I begin, I would like to apologize for leaving you guys out in the cold. I passed out and let the thread die. It is easier for me to do the quest at a certain time. So starting from this page, I will start at around 6 PM Central burger time. Again, I apologize for the tardiness.
Welcome to the third part of our Warcraft quest. We are Anlec Falconcrest, third son of Lord Falconcrest who left home and sailed to distant Stormwind to become a brother in the Brotherhood of the horse. You fought against the Orcish horde in the first and second war, and returned home to find your lands in a mess. Your kingdom had rebelled against the alliance and you found yourself as the Lord Falconcrest.
It falls to you now to make alterac ascendant as you are caught in a crossfire of treachery and politics. Can you ensure that the Eagle Rises once more?
Previous thread
http://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/46865977/
Pic related is the map.
Your rulership is the thriving town of Strahnbrad and it's hinterlands. The harvests are largely plentiful now, a far cry from nearly two years ago when you had to sign a humiliating treaty with the Hillsbrad towns to secure food for your people
The encircled area are the hinterlands that feed your town and in times past supplied the fortress of Falcon's Rest as well. Falcon's Rest is the closest fortress to Strahnbrad, and is marked with a blue block. It is also the ancestral seat of your house.
Recently you led an expedition to retake the ancient fortress after the Alliance forces had begun to pull out of Alterac proper.
The further Fortress is Eagle's Perch. It is still being held by alliance forces under the command of Lord Othmar Garithos. Your negotiations with him went rather poorly, and he has vowed to return and arrest you and your militia for 'insurrection'.
Last time, you had managed to convince the rulers of Dalaran that there was a threat that was demonic in origin, to Alterac. They had responded by sending two extremely powerful mages to aid you.
These mages were also high ranking members of their kind, and part of the Council of Six, the hidden, mystical group that rules the city of mages. One of them was the Prince Kael'Thas Sunstrider, Heir to the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas, and a poweful ally.
To your embarrassment, you were quite drunk at your first meeting and you insulted him and the Archmage Modera. Luckily for you, your apologies mollified them, and they set out with your cavalry to end the threat from the syndicate and the argus wake once and for all.
You enter the alterac valley and find that the orcs and traitorous humans have ganged up on a smaller group of orcs and were close to wiping them out. At the request of the mages, you ended up rescuing the orcs and enter into parley with them. Archmage Modera translates and you find out that the traitorous humans and their orcish allies are worshipping demons, and your brother leads the remnants of your family's troops.
The parley goes off to a rocky start. The Wolfish orcs don't like you and describe your brother as a monster rather than a man. If these brutes think your brother is a monster, then he is truly lost.
>Mankind is fighting aliens in a large, galaxy scale war.
>Both sides are throwing rocks as their main attack.
How do you explain why?

asteroids are just big rocks.

Child soldiers. They're too young to use guns.

I suppose after a while it might be easier to just hurl asteroids/planetoids at each other.
