I'm all for a Casual general but this is not how you start one
You arent casual until you have played reverse commander /thread
Is there a good way to ensure the casual decks me and my friends build with cards we buy from the interwebs end up around the same strength? My friends are a little simple so I can greatly influence how they turn up.

What class are you most interested in seeing for the next official release?
Psion. :^)
The only class I can think of being interested besides Psion is Shaman as either a divine sorc or a divine lock.

A perfectly normal human being.
If magic is linked to intelligence, then it's something that basically anyone can learn (at least acquire a working knowledge of) with enough time, effort and a decent educational infrastructure, right? And presumably like anything it's something you need to start learning from a really young age to get a good knowledge of.
So, why aren't there more things like "wizard kindergarten", "pre-school for sorcerors"? Why isn't "breaking reality with your brain 101" a compulsory course in schools of any topic or level right up there with literacy and numeracy?
Think about it, a more empowered (literally) workforce is a more productive workforce. As soon as your fantasy setting hits the point where you can meet nutrient needs of large populations with relatively light agriculture (i.e. you get potatoes), why can't everyone start getting basic wizardy?
Again, not saying everyone needs to be PHENOMENAL MASTERS OF THE ARCANE!!! but, like, wouldn't everyone's lives be enriched by fucking cantrips?

maybe
in harry potter, magic is linked to intelligence, but all the intelligence in the world won't turn you into a wizard if you don't have any magical potential in the first place.

All of the Gods are represented by a constellation in the night sky. The four major evil gods are bound by a four point constellation , around which the night sky rotates. The six major good gods surround them, so they don't escape, and are always in the night sky.
The other 12 are a rabble of different alignments and are too far from the axis to be in the sky year round, each one gets a month on the calendar.

I just started my first 5e adventure. I'm playing a goblin bard, and everyone is a racist fuck so the party is getting shunned.
Also a Valor bard with a whip, the booming blade cantrip and the spell sniper feat.
Can use whip to damage and apply booming blade from 10 ft away, now nothing can move without taking 1d8. Goblin so 30ft move and can disengage/hide as a bonus

It's big and powerful and has a lot of enchantments!
>>46912869
It's masterwork! It's adamantine! Non-magical! We're level 15! But I cast Greater Magic Weapon every morning and use my Magus' arcane pool to enchant it, so I prefer it that way. Recently got a magic artifact sword that I'm not sure what to do with, though.
I use a magic stick. When it has alot of charges, it sprouts small leaves.I totally didn't steal the idea from Marcille's staff in Dungeon Meshi)

Depends. Has your DM been watching Fullmetal Alchemist lately?
I wouldn't worry about it, its certainly not a giant geomantic maze formation rune

Seems more like an Eldrad ruse if you ask me
Have you ever been kicked out of a group?
Justly or unjustly, what happened?
I ended up being jettisoned from an entire gaming circle over a clusterfuck of a relationship and various things, but there are a few key episodes which led to me being kicked from a specific group.
It started in a game I was running, where I told a player that, no, I don't follow the rules of the game as explicitly written, because I'm the GM. The rules are guidelines at best, and I will modify them freely if I think it makes the game experience better. I was not being a dick about it, just having stuff PCs did not work or any such stuff. I just added a few extra abilities to some generic, mook enemies to make them more interesting to fight. And said player, who was my romantic partner at the time, utterly flipped his shit.
He was also running a game I played in, and I was astonished in the next session when he said that he couldn't trust me not to break the rules as a player. Because I was willing to twist them as a GM. Thus, he was going to pay extremely close attention to me and watch my every move for cheating. By this point, I was pretty sure he'd boot my ass if I made a single mistake, so I got bored, said 'fuck it' and left. The relationship collapsed shortly afterwards, and I ended up completely abandoning a community I'd been part of for a few years by that point. So that was fun.
>>46903753
why did you say it was fun?
it sounds like it wasn't...
>>46903796
Dry British sarcasm. It's a coping thing. I know it rarely comes off well online, but it's easier to deadpan mock something than actually think about it or let the emotions affect you.
I realize that GW has fucked 40k up pretty bad in recent history, and that it has a lot of problems, but it still remains one of my favourite sci-fi settings for tabletop and pen & paper. Why don't we talk about the unique things it brings to the table as a universe, and things it actually does well, for once.
ITT: Positive things about 40k as a setting

>>46900551
The scale. The scale of the setting allows you to tell stories that involve massive struggles on a heightened level of drama, and still remain a tiny spec of the larger setting ultimately disrupting none of the established canon fans love so much.
