Well it would be underground, for starters.
Most of the big folk have never heard of it.
Give me examples of least used stock fantasy settings out there.
By stock fantasy I mean stuff like One Thousand and One Nights, things that on average most people at least know that it exists.
>>50117353
Like Indians folkore?
>>50118242
That could work.
>>50118242
Real Indians or American Indian
Modern folklore in a fantasy setting some kind of medieval Americana could be interesting.
Indonesian would be great, or african
If you're going to be trying to infiltrate a population with mind-parasite infected people that you've captured and are returning, is it better to do it en-mass and try to bluff it as having been in an off-course ship, or to try to sneak individuals back into the population while risking discovery of your infiltration teams?
Got some Illithids in space up to no good but I'm not sure how best to handle it. High level 3.P game, party averages ECL20+ atm.
For the same game, how would one go about using pop stars and artistic figures to sway a population? Sociologically speaking, not bardic mass-suggestion.

Let's try again ?
What does /tg/ think about the spoils card game ? Some people complained that the last set was pure garbage ?
Turning first strike into a value like power and toughness seems like it's dedicating too much card space to something so minor.
>>50116381
>a tiny fukken number in the top right corner next to two other numbers that were already going to be there anyways takes up too much card space
It literally occupies less card space than the "First Strike" text on a relevant M:tG card, you blind mong.
Why does it seems so dead ?
I lost most of my models because of some bullshit after putting alot of work into them
I really do love the designing aspect along with fluff writing and I really need to be cheered up
So please Unit Designs and plus points for fluff

Awhile ago, I wrote up crunch for the Mekboy Speedsta, a vehicle which first appeared in Epic 40k as a sort of "fast tank" for Orks. I "like" the Mekboy Junka that Forgeworld wrote rules for, but it came out before Chariots were a thing in 40k, and it felt weird that Meks could take a Dedicated Transport they didn't even need to use!
++Mekboy Speedsta++
Point Cost: 65 base (plus cost of the Big Mek, so 100 minimum)
BS: 3, FA 13, SA 12, RA 10
Type: Chariot, Open-Topped, Fast
Wargear: 2 Kannons. Due to Grot crew, it has BS 3
Options: May replace any of its Kannons for other Mek Gunz, at costs based off Mek Gun costs (for example, +5 points to replace a Kannon with a Zzap, +12 points to replace a Kannon with a Kustom Mega-Kannon, etc).
Special Rule: Mobile Mekshop: The Mek may measure from the Speedsta for purposes of any interactions with the Mek itself.
For example, the Mek may attempt to repair another vehicle in base-to-base with the Speedsta, or may use a Fuel Relay within 2" of the Speedsta to grant Torrent to its Kombi-Skorcha.

I found an old diecast backhoe toy from when I was a young lad, when I'll get back in the hobby I plan to use it in Necromunda/Inq28 missions.
As the shovel part is damaged, the machine may be used as a battering ram against fortifications or walls by players during some sessions (to escape a rival gang or worst, like plague zombies), a model just have to drive it.
I also plan to cut some corrugated steel-shaped plastic card as upgrades for the machine, like puting sheets of it on the sides of the backhoe to use it as a moving cover for models.
I have no rules for it yet. Maybe the armour value of a Imperial Guard tank, the vehicle doesn't have any weapon outside of its ram.

The Crimson Rider legend from the Hua Yuan Exterminators homebrew Astra Militarum regiment seems neat, so I decided to try my hand at converting a biker inspired by him into a unit for HoR Kill Team's Legendary Heroes in the campaign rules.
Renown: I don't know how
Upkeep: to balance this shit
WS4 / BS3 / S3 / T4 / I4 / A2 / Ld9 / Sv4+
Type: Biker, Character
Wargear: Power Maul, Twin-Linked Heavy Stubber, Frag Grenade, Melta Bomb, Ganger Bike, Ganger Carapace Armor
Rules: Rage, Counter-Attack, Skilled Rider, Fear
Depending on the fluff, I'd say he might be a model that can be taken by the CSM, Renegades & Heretics, Astra Militarum, Rogue Trader, and possibly Inquisition mini-Codexes. I think the allusion is that he's some kind of Khornate Cultist, but the short story doesn't see to indicate an allegiance; just imagery.
Anyway, he's designed to be a Ganger, so he's not exactly built to be something that can compete with Space Marine bikers. He's a shock troop that speeds in, fucks some things up, maybe gets out of there to do it again or ends up dying. A mid-ranged slugger that puts on the cheap wounds and goes out swinging.
I might also be reading more Akira's Tokyo into this than the Hua Yuan's cyberpunk Hong Kong. Also, I'm considering adding Hit & Run, but at this point he might actually have to have some rules trimmed to meet a reasonable points cost for the investment. Also I have to think up a reasonable points cost and upkeep cost for the investment.

Create the most generic sci-fi setting possible
I mean... which genre of sci-fi? Space Opera? Post-apocalyptic Teen Romance? Futurism? Bradbury-esque post-modern? 1950's pulp sci-fi?

It's set in space. Battles have sound. The bad guys want to take over the entire universe and only a few people in the space resistance can stop them.

Is it still Mary Sue Princess battle edition? I don't even know who won if voting took place. Neah, now it's No Shave November Edition. Looks like Ussa already has a jump on us all.

The last one didn't even last ten posts. It's time to let go.
what is the most simple trpg you can think of that is also good and fun?
Fate Accelerated and Apocalypse World are nice. Just don't playDungeon Worldno matter what /tg/ tells you.
>>50113843
my idea was to run a very light game for my little cousins, because they have seen me doing sessions with friends and got curious enough to want to try it
also, if it is fun enough maybe to run one quick session with premade characters with friends
>>50113843
What is wrong withDungeon Worldand why aren't you allowed to say it in public?
Why would anyone use an axe? They were dog shit!
>not as versatile as a sword
>not as good against armor as a warhammer in fact against plate it can do fuck all
>inb4 b-but my price!
>except in fantasy settings swords are cheap as fuck and so were real life ones from 14th century onwards
There are a plethora of reasons of which aren't really worth getting into, such as availability, utility, and urafaget, to name a few. But other than that, sense you're probably talking about RPGs, just understand that style is an equally valid answer.
>>50113350
Axes are fucking ugly.
>>50113283
I will not get into an historical warfare perspective, but in a fantasy world I believe axes and heavy lances/partizans would be the ideal weapons for dealing with big monsters. An axe could cause wider and deeper wounds through the thick skin and muscles of a large creature than a sword would - and it's the kind of enemy against which the superior versatility of a sword would be useless, too.
"do you miss me already?"
it is not that overpovered, bolt kills it
>>50113591
Bolt kills it, but unless they're tapped out and have no mana floating they can go off in response.

Rinwald is a setting based in a Victorian meet WW1 diesel punk Magi-tec mess with Mongol-Hunnic Pig Orcs, Tank/artillery obsessed Dwarves and vast empires...
I got a problem though TG.
I have no clue on empire names, government's, uniforms, tactics, racial demographics and most importantly player placement and available questines, I'm planning on brewing the shit out of Runequest to achieve this though.
Wanna help me flesh out this world /tg/?
>>50112407
Sure. Do we need any context of the setting or can we just write fluff with the diselpunk-Victorian theme?
>>50112558
Any fluff when it comes to nations, culture, regiments, magic or anything else you can think off!
