>What is it about?
BitD is about gangs and crime, executing heists and capers for wealth and power in the criminal underworld, and taking/weighing significant risks.

>How is it about that?
Flexible, mechanized planning allows for players to quickly engage in a new heist, without extended time spent on actual planning. Flashbacks allows for retroactive planning and preparation at the cost of Stress. Stress can be gained to negate consequences of actions, but at the risk of gaining a more serious, permanent consequence on your character should you max-out Stress.

>How are players rewarded?
Players are rewarded in XP for PCs and Crews, Coin (abstraction of currency), and Rep for Crews
PC XP is gained whenever you take a Desperate Action, or when you play to your class' XP trigger (specific MO), when you Train during downtime, and at the end of each session if your Vice and Trauma(s) have caused significant issues, or your PCs background/heritage/drives have come into play.
This XP can be invested in 4 XP tracks, to either improve general skills/actions, or to gain class specific abilities.
Crew XP is gained by playing to your Crew type's XP trigger (specific MO). Upon advancement, the whole Crew can gain a new special ability, or take more general upgrades.
Rep is gained for succesfully executing plans, depending on the Tier of your target. Rep is used to increase your Crews standing and access to resources, or to reinforce the Crew against hostile actions.
Coin is gained upon successfully executing plans. The amount earned is left up to GM interpretation, but 1 Coin is a decent amount of cash. Coin is spent as part of advancing the Crew's Tier, improve the effect of certain action during downtime (bribes etc), take additional downtime actions, and invest in a PC's lifestile upon retirement.

There is any way to protect a Evil outsider to be:

- Unaffected by holy water
- Unaffected by Channel Positive Energy
- Have his alignment disguised against high level magic (barring True Seeing)?

What I'm trying to do is a BBE that is disguised and act as a spy in the PCs holy church, but I need to check if I can do this bulletproof (or almost) by the rules.

The release schedule makes no sense, you get told enough information ahead of time to get you excited but in the end you're left in the dust for a long time on missing profiles, upcoming models, etc.


Most female HI suck and look like pin-up dolls and are hard to assemble.

Make an archipelago.

What your map looks like is significantly less important than if there's anything interesting on it. You could have full maps of the 12 planets of the system or 20 square miles in the middle of nowhere, all that matters is if there are actually important things on it. Nobody cares about anything else.

1778 – Cherry Valley massacre: Loyalists and Seneca Indian forces attack a fort and village in eastern New York, killing more than forty civilians and soldiers.
1805 – Napoleonic Wars: Battle of Dürenstein – 8000 French troops attempt to slow the retreat of a vastly superior Russian and Austrian force.
1813 – War of 1812: Battle of Crysler's Farm – British and Canadian forces defeat a larger American force, causing the Americans to abandon their Saint Lawrence campaign.

It is 76 years since the Battle of Taranto, fought between British naval forces, under Admiral Andrew Cunningham, and Italian naval forces, under Admiral Inigo Campioni. The Royal Navy launched the first all-aircraft ship-to-ship naval attack in history, with a small number of obsolescent Swordfish biplane torpedo-bombers from the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious in the Mediterranean Sea. The attack struck the battle fleet of the Regia Marina at anchor in the harbour of Taranto using aerial torpedoes despite the shallow depth of the water. The devastation wrought by the British carrier-launched aircraft on the large Italian warships was the beginning of the ascendancy of naval aviation over the big guns of battleships. According to Admiral Cunningham, "Taranto, and the night of November 11–12, 1940, should be remembered for ever as having shown once and for all that in the Fleet Air Arm the Navy has its most devastating weapon."

Codenamed Operation Judgment, Cunningham and Lyster planned to attack Taranto on October 21, Trafalgar Day, with aircraft from HMS Illustrious and HMS Eagle. This was later changed following fire damage to Illustrious and action damage to Eagle. While Eagle was being repaired, it was decided to press on with the attack using only Illustrious. Several of Eagle's aircraft were transferred to augment Illustrious' air group and the carrier sailed on November 6. In the days before the attack, several reconnaissance flights from Malta confirmed that the Italian fleet was at Taranto.

Given these events, the RAF advised against the raid. They were afraid that a failure would result in the improvement of anti-aircraft defenses of the Italian harbour. But their warnings were ignored and the raid went ahead to devastating effect. Italian anti-aircraft guns were confused by flares set off by two leading planes; these also successfully illuminated targets.
