Will be dumping some of my scenery art for the next little while.
Searching for some fantasy festivals and celebrations.

Let's talk casual as Fuck, I'm talking take a shot everytime a creature dies, I'm talking 30/200 land ratios, I'm talking black lotus, I'm talking dollar store pack drafts. Fuck legacy, standard, modern, and touch yourself because this is for the MTG players who just want to have fun on a thursday night.
First for go big or go home.

Those are some vicious fuckers, with some counters you could make someone pull their skin off with those

What's not to love?
What are the best cards to put in a Sliver deck? The reason this is it's own thread is because I'm not asking within a certain format, just everything goes. General casual too I guess.
Cavern of Souls and Mutavault.
>>50222663
Thank you.
>>50222639
Sliver Queen
Okay, which one of you was responsible?
>>50222592
This is better than katana vs. Western sword. I'm now tempted to make a modern setting character who exclusively uses mall swords and has to hunt vampires (or whatever) in order to fund his constantly shrinking collection.
>>50222592
>>50222640
Sop, tldr: some faggot is butthurt and salty that someone else said his sword is shit?
That's cool, I guess.
>>50222640
I'd accept his challenge just to gun him down with beanbags.
Is having a cyberpunk-esque society within a fantasy campaign inherently stupid or could it be interesting?
>>50222414
If done right, it could be cool. You'd need to explain why the technology doesn't spread, though. Also, if your players want and expect a fantasy game, they might not like having to play in a cyberpunk setting and rush through it. You might want to ask them beforehand.
>>50222414
Wouldn't it be just another WH40K though?
>>50222414
Like, are you replacing technology with magic? Like new magically improved parahumans, astral networks and super guilds doing ethically questionable wizardry while weak kingdoms are forced to rely on mercenaries and not-venice bankers to sustain themselves?
cuz if you ain't doing that, I am
Hey guys, it's me again.
I need a name for the evil computer in my game. The one that controls all of humanity. I have so far used these as placeholders and none seem to really fit:
- Atlantis
- The Ark
- Zed
- Harmony
- The Administrator
- Praefectus
What are the themes of the game anon? Are we talking something like Friend Computer or are we talking Matrix?
Because off the top of my head with nothing to go on I would simply go with "Deus" if you're going for the evil omnipotence thing but that's cliche. Something like "Daedalus " works for a construct-like ideal, or if you're looking for like an Emperor or leader then how about "Caesar"?
What kinda themes are we talking OP?
>>50222617
Dystopian horror. THe computer is given the tak of "reforming" society to make it sustainable in the long run, so it wipes out most of humanity and institutes its own overlord rule, as the powerful puppet-master.
Sam.
Hey /tg/. I have a kind of strange problem with my games that I'm not sure how to deal with - or if it's even really a problem.
My players really, really like to talk among themselves. In-character, mind you, but a whole lot of talking. About each others' hometowns, histories, families, goals, pretty much everything. And while I actively encourage my players to RP, and this is all cool, every time something happens it seems like every player wants to have a little "scene" with one, maybe two other players to talk about what they think about what just happens.
It's gotten to the point where we'll have one session where we have an adventure or delve in a dungeon, and another session where everyone sits around the campfire and argues, debates, discusses, and jokes about the last session for up to three hours before hitting the road again.
It's been making things running really, really slow.
Sounds awesome and a complete non-problem if they are enjoying themselves. Is it boring you?
>>50222168
It's more that the other people on the table seem to kind of disengage while other people have their 20-minute conversations.
>>50222193
Yeah, a common issue with more than a few players. I'd hate to discourage actual role playing though. Maybe find a way to engage those left out, a tiny little adventure or just playing cards with an NPC? Preferably something more about decisions than rolling, but I guess it depends on the player.
Post character art.
I'm looking for things adventurers would wear when they're not armored up outside of the safety of city walls.

How does it go? I'm curious as to how the combine empire stacks up against other sci-fi empires.
Lesser wizards of Faerun blast the invaders to oblivion. Mutually beneficial trade is established after initial war and magitech is introduced to Faerun.
writefags, get on a WH40k crossover

Tribal brews and tribal love is welcome here, no matter the format or tribe.
Do you think we'll see more than Elves, Merfolk and Goblins in tiered decks?
What is the best way of producing lots of goblins for Goblin War Strike?
And the best way of producing zombies for pic related?
zombies is so mainstream

When an anon says something about his girlfriend?!
This is the ROLE PLAYING board, I can have as many "Girlfriends" as I want!
Also:
>Discuss the intricacies of Fairies as spouses to a member of the 'larger' races
>>50220422
Because many of us just don't want to hear about your goddamn drama.
And fairies would make terrible spouses, particularly due to the difficulties in consummation.

Oh just fuck off.

How does your character react to it?

how to light up a cave?
magic torches, glowing mushrooms, crystals, insects NOT allowed
>>50220026
Crystals.
Specifically, crystal veins of high purity which extend to the surface and refract sunlight.
Light the rest with strategically placed mirrors and chemlights.
>reflective surfaces and a skylight
>luminescent foes
>bioluminescent bacteria in the water
>braziers filled with self regenerating smokeless gel
>electrical lighting
>piezoelectric flooring
>ghostly glowing
>non-magical torches
>proper architecture to allow maximum lighting
>slaves with wands of daylight

questions that dont deserve their own thread
post your questions that fulfill the aformentioned criteria and lets try to help eachother.when dealing with recoil on firearms, does higher recoil (relative to gunner's experience/strength, in a free standing position) already decrease the precision during the first shot?
should a higher size class for PCs add an automatic penalty to agility due to increased inertia?
>>50219989
>when dealing with recoil on firearms, does higher recoil (relative to gunner's experience/strength, in a free standing position) already decrease the precision during the first shot?
Generally yes.
The recoil begins the moment the gun is fired, so a loose grip on a gun with strong recoil can cause the muzzle to start to rise a fraction of a second before the bullet has exited the barrel.
This is less the case with blowback operated guns and there are also some unusual mechanisms that can prevent this entirely, like on Russian AN-94.
I have a question, and it may sound stupid but instead of using the emperor for warp travel wh ydont we have small warp beacons with psykers to guide people through the warp. Also, why can't we keep the eperor in a titan or dreadnought.
Also why are there barely any computers in the imperium. Instead of having millons of slaves on ships, why not just replace it with onboard AI?
/tg/, how what would you do if you were turned into a mouse, but still had your human intelligence?

I'm going to be spending the next years I have left playing play-by-post RPGS, I guess.
