You seem to be udner the false assumption that warhammer fantasy and warhammer 40k happens in the same universe and that Terra is the warhammer fantasy world. You are wrong, they are not the same, just share some similarities. Terra is supposed to be our real world, not a fantasy world.

Is this real life? I have seen countless similarities between the two. The gods the humans worship, the gods the elves worship, the gods the orcs worship, the gods the norse worship, the rankings of various factions, the 'names' of specific individuals in each faction. It doesn't just suggest it is tied together but actually a part of 40k's universe. It even specifically mentions that Karl Franz is a relative of the emperor and goes on to talk about how they are all incarnations of one another.

What the hell? Can one of you guys explain to me why the universes are different then with literally an unlimited number of things being the same thing from both universes?

I'm actually a little pissed off now, that doesn't make any sense.

I'm assuming this will take place during the time period of the original trilogy?

If so, given the size of the empire versus the rebellion, I'd imagine the average TIE pilot wouldn't have much combat experience aside from routine patrols and anti-piracy operations.

Therefore the pilots will probably be nervous in actual combat, as well as likely underestimating the skill and capabilities of any rebels they encounter, at least initially.

Depends on the canon you subscribe to. Some folks would be as the other anons put it, panicked and worried. Some would have been fed a steady stream of propaganda, with their experience that's limited in the field backing that feeling up. They're going to be hyper confident as they engage with the enemy, but would break and just start trying to survive when the enemy is proving too strong.

Or they can be from certain academies that filled recruits with aggression, to the point that TIE pilots are bloodthirsty and shaking for a kill. The Wraith Squadron books mention some of these kind of pilots, especially those on elite ships, have severe emotional problems meant to make them as aggressive as possible to support their fighter's game plan.

But yeah, they could be confident on approach or shitting their pants worried about the fight.

Depends on the squadrons experience. Tie Fighters are one of the most skill dependant starships in the SW universe so a rookie squadron will probably be very nervous on the first sign of an organised resistance while an ace pilot will see a one on one dogfight with an X-wing more as a routine then a challenge.

That's absolutely true. But according to Poo this is an "actual" stretch goal, meaning it wasn't in his original plans.

It's likely the kind of thing that will be hinted throughout the actual game, to foreshadow the actual expansion it will get down the road. That's what he did for the first kickstarter as well.

Canopteks of all varieties, Lychguard with an Overlord and a Veil of Night(?) and Tomb Blades are all extremely viable. Decurion optional if you want a serious buff.

Bunch of warriors in ghost arks, at least 2 units of tomb blades with shadowlooms for that objective zippin' and zappin', canoptek anti fun police is always and option. And always remember to not play decurion if you want friends.

I just finished this Battle Boar for my Warmahordes Minions.

Pretty pleased with the overall outcome. Did a quick hairspray effect to achieve the red weathered armor parts. Had initially an idea to freehand a Cygnar icon on the cloth, as to represent a once royal banner being worn by this beast, but I fun to paint as it was, I wanted to complete him before going of to work.

c&c are welcome (aka, I'm bound to have missed a mold line or two....)

really nice glowing effects, mate. no real negative aspects come to mind. maybe have lightened up the face abit, for a focal point it's a bit dark, but that might be the camera and lighting more than the actual paint. what paints did you use for the glowing blues?
