i'm 25 now and fairly socially active, at least as far as a 40+ hour work week and full-time classes allows

i still make less eye contact than a lot of folk that have a more direct gaze. nobody thinks those folks are creepy, btw. coincidentally or not, most of the people i hang out with a very direct stare or gaze ARE a bit less...balanced than others. love them just the same, and probably more for it.

but ye man, i've got a roving gaze. i like to look at shit, especially outside. generally in 15 seconds of me speaking i'll be looking into the other person's eyes for 1-3 seconds. if they're speaking i'm maintaining eye contact about 7-8 seconds out of 15 maybe.
