Literally why?
There is little aftermarket for the IS F and it will cost a fortune to tune it with the parts available. Better off buying a used e90 M3.
Also, the IS F's suck up until the 2011+ models since that's when they reworked the entire suspension and added an lsd. These cost like $42k and most have 60k miles or more on them. Not even worth it desu

Anything is possible with enough money, time, and talent.
The 2UR, like every Toyota V8 ever, will need some custom fabricated parts to mate with a given transmission. Not to mention that you'd have to deal with the electronics and getting the engine running right.
Honestly, unless you have some serious cash flow, don't bother.

I have a 4x4 light truck and a mazda3 for the wifey.
The truck sucks ass in rain or snow, plus bad MPG.
I rarely drive the 3.
So i need a 3rd vehicle. Leaning toward the subaru because ill probably take it down dirt roads from time to time. But its easy to lift corollas too.

Hey /o/, I just bought an E30 from my uncle, and it definitely drives like an old car. It just feels kind of imprecise when I'm driving it. It also makes a strange clunking noise when I clutch in that I've decided is the throw out bearing.
What are some things I can do to strengthen it up and make it feel more responsive? I'm thinking
>Bilstein B8 Struts/Shocks
>H&R Super Sport springs
>New lower control arms/ball joints
>New tie rod ends
>New engine mounts
>New transmission mounts
>New throw out bearing/clutch kit
>New weather stripping/sun roof gasket to prevent wind noise

Just replace everything rubber. Mounts, subframe bushings, suspension bushings, flex disks. New struts will definitely help.
The clunking noise isn't going to be your throw out bearing.

Doesn't describe what specific areas are wrong with that seat. So all I can see is that you have a lumbar back problem. So get a lumbar support pad for the car seat. There are also various seat pads sold to increase comfort. You can even buy a sheepskin type cover and the contiguous leather of the cover adds a certain drumlike stiffness to the seat. You can then stuff a thin lumbar support behind the sheepskin and it will support your back.
If your seats have airbags built-in, then you'll have to get compatible seat covers. Or leave the sides open. In modern cars, if you get custom seats that don't have airbags, your car's central computer will display that airbag lamp on your dash indicating an airbag fault. There are dummy loads that can replace the sensors to fool the computer too.
The airbag fault light is important. In some cars, that can disable some aspects of the traction control system as well as do other things. And of course, your car would not pass inspections because working airbags are required by law.

So, I've tried buying old used cars from private sellers but there is always so much drama involved, I wasn't able to register my '81 VW Rabbit. Yea, BMW sells stripped down versions of their cars in Europe and not to the US, so they can market their entry level shit in the US as "luxury" rather than just premium, but at least BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc... have cars like the M5/M6, 750Li, RS7, R8, AMG GTS, S63 AMG, etc... That's the reason why those brands are considered prestigious and are the cars buyers of the 3 series and CLA look up to. What the fuck does Buick or Lincoln have to offer that makes them so alluring?

Dual clutch or automatic. Namely, how do you decelerate or come to a stop? Are you supposed to sequentially downshift as you come to a stop, engine braking on the way there? Sure the car will rev match for you, but the computer blipping the throttle up to 3k just coming to a stop seems really excessive in every day driving.
