Which won their class at le mans
What the hell is the deal with some 80s cars getting expensive?
I have wanted one of these things for years but now that I have extra time and money, the price has gone crazy?
Are 80s vehicles fucking collectors items now?
What other cars have gone up in value and when did this trend start?
the fuck do you want one for?
even the eurovan (vw realta) campers had a nicer interior.
>>16240173
its been 40 years dude you'll be luck to find something thats not rotting
Vanagons are prized by enthusiasts, especially syncros and westies. That's why they're so expensive.
I'm not sure how many they sold in the US to begin with, either. Pickup variants in particular are super rare.

knowing kias in general, this one probably has nothing but plastic, some shit leather, and all the dashboard pieces rattle like a motherfucker
I miss the days where cars would make power from their engine
So where's this gonna sit in the market? Somewhere up against the 340i? I mean, I doubt they'd just launch a head-on attack on the M3.
What is the best new/barely used car I can buy for between 50 to 65k?

Navigation, manual box, defrosters for snow days, the rest I don't care about.
DD but I only need 2 seats.
Fuck you, I like it
Pictures do not give this car justice
A lot of cars that look bad in pictures look better in real life. You can appreciate the proportions and size a lot more IRL.
That being said, I still don't think these look very good
I like it too

I drove one. It really reminds me of an Aston Martin, not as refined, but a very similar feeling. It just has that old GT feel. Also the ride quality was fantastic. The only issue was that it shifts faster in automatic mode than in manual.
How do I get this out without dying?
>>16238845
looks like there isn't much tension on the spring so you should be fine.
Just jack off the car and use a spring compressor if you're being a bitch
>>16238849
also, how the fuck did you manage that?

Gotta go to the junkyard to find the shit that works right fucking now. Jesus fuck i love this game.
Also, /msc/ general i guess.
Its a meme just like the "fix the body with the hammer". There are no parts in the junkyard. Find the sofa, be happy with it, and you are fucked on anything else.

I don't really get this game
I'd rather just work on a real car
Honestly I have been doing a lot of thinking. Subaru is literally the best automaker today. They make the full range of automobiles including sport sedans. All of their vehicles are AWD even base impreza and for the price they are priced at...totally worth it. They even still make wagons....sure its huge but what inst today. Name a better car available for the average consumer for the same price point. Is subaru keeping the car enthusiast happy?
For the price, not many options.
The only runner ups I can think of are Ford and Mazda.
speaking of.. Mazda, where the fuck is the speed3?!
>>16236864
None of them offer a rwd compact car at the same price as subaru
>>16236583
Aside from the wrx/sti, toyota and hondas are better in almost every measurable way. AWD is the only thing they really got going for them.
>Name a better car available for the average consumer for the same price point.
Civic
why do all the cars from the 80s look dope-as-fuck and all the cars post 2004 look like boring ass electric shavers?
Because you are thinking of maybe a handful of cars from the 80s that looked nice. The rest were and looked like complete shit.

Memes aside is the extra 8k worth for a base sti? I can either get a wrx sport tech or a base sti. I would also like recomendations for a car in the same budget, requirements:
- 2015 or newer
- Must be manual
Forgot to say that also it has to be a car in the same specs, enough hp to have fun and sporty. Thanks
>>16229709
How much do you value AWD? That's really the only reason to go for a Subaru over the competition.
Don't get a Memeru, wait for the Civic Type R
>>16229760
>wait for the 35k fwd hatch
Kek
2017 Civic Coupe EX-T vs. 2017 Corolla iM
Civic: faster, more expensive, less reliable
Corolla: significantly cheaper, more reliable
Also considering used Lexus IS350.
Any other suggestions/reccs?
honestly, they're about the same as far as reliability goes and the iM isn't as peppy. I'd drive both and go with which you like more. The IS350 is a much better car overall regardless.
I'd probably go IS350 > used Accord v6 mt > corolla iM > civic coupe
only because I'd prefer a hatch over coupe in that small of a platform.

Not a fan of swaps, who knows how shitty it was actually done.
I'd go with the first one if you could get it for under 14. Extended cab hurts it's value IMO.
