184 episodes and those are the only ones I actually enjoy. Even some of them the acting is too hamfisted to be enjoyable, Vietnam was just a character developing story for Clarkson even though he'd ridden a bike on the show before.

Top Gear had its moments but generally was a pretty trash show

Too bad youre telling me this after i watched every episode.
You could have saved me so much time by expressing your opinion much soon.

Personally, I'm more upset that The Grand Tour has turned out to be a complete bag of shite.

The newest episode was them back on form. They're at their best when they're just driving places, or when they're doing utterly stupid shit with cheap cars.

Ford 1.0-litre Ecoboost 3 cylinder engine to get cylinder deactivation, improving fuel economy up to 6%. A 1.0-litre Fiesta Ecoboost gets 65.7mpg, a 6% improvement makes that 69.6mpg.
Is this a good move...? >VW

Is dailying a RHD car in the US (or any country that drives on the right) viable? I go to school in rural af northern Commiefornyah (Humboldt) and I kinda want to import something like a Silvia/180sx, Soarer, or Cresta once I save up after eating nothing but ramen all semester.

sounds like a bit of a pain, but i can't imagine why it wouldn't be viable
left turns and two-lane overtaking would become trickier but that's it (well and tollbooths and the like, better have a passenger to grab things at the drive through)

OP I'm going to stop you right here.
> California
It's not going to happen.
Put it out of your mind, forget it, don't look back.
It is legal, albeit a massive pain to import cars from Canada into the US, let alone Japan, even with the 25 year rule.
California has Smog testing. Any vehicle brought it not only has to get past US Customs Enforcement (who will happily seize/crush it for you if anything is out of place) but also the DMV, who will not let you register it unless it meets California's particularly strict and arbitrary emissions specifications.

In short, the way that car will roll off the boat, it won't. You'll have to do an engine swap every 2 years for the smog checks. Alternatively you'll have to register it out of state and hope nobody finds out that you're dodging registration fees which warrants a massive fine if caught. There's even a tip line and rewards for reporting people who do that because it's so common.

Considering that you also have a vast market of cheap, fixable, rust-free vehicles available in California already I think you'd be retarded to import anything from Japan nomatter how cool the Anime is.

Hypothetical question for /o/
would it be possible to replace the traditional camshaft-driven valvetrain of something like a miats with a set of paintball solenoids mounted to a central controller? A paintball gun with this type of solenoid can fire 25 times per second (1500 times per minute), and that may be moreso limited by the paintball gun than the solenoid. There's also pneumatic solenoids and actuators which would be even faster, but then you have the additional weight and complexity of pneumatics to deal with. I'm aware of Von Konigsegsegseg's work that's along the same lines, but maybe this would be slightly more accessible to the plebs

Am saving up now just in case i want to buy it when it comes out in 2020. I always wanted an FD, but pussied out and bought a new STI instead.

I'm looking to get a bike that I can ride in all weather (especially snow). My first instinct was a dual sport but I spend almost all my time on road, so a dual sport would be wasted. Right now I'm thinking about pic related. With a good knobby tire I think it would be good in the snow then good on road when it's dry. What do you think?

Red flag? Do women know jack shit about manuals? Will the gearbox be a wreck? She is trying to leverage it as "female driven" like that's a good thing

Looking into getting a 2007 Honda jazz/fit to learn to finally learn to drive manual on after only having driven Auto my whole 8 year driving career

Any issues I should be worried about? when inspecting it?

should it be a forgiving car to learn on for someone who has never touched manual?

Honda Fit are pretty based and you'll be set later on when your skills improve when it comes to upgrading the car with more serious handling parts.

Everything about Chrysler is shit except SRT.

I've sat in a Gen V Viper. I thought they would be all speed and zero taste, but the interior was extremely well built. Everything felt solid and nicely put together.
