Worked as a tech at a few dealers and one ind shop. All in all it's not worth it in my opinion. It pays the bills but plumbers deal with less shit and get paid more.

91 Colony park, though same cluster as a 90/91 vic (actually I swapped in a PI cluster hence the 140 readout) and very similar to a 90/91 grand marq.
We finally got a nice lake effect band to shit all over us across the boarder here in Buffalo.
The good old WinterForce II's didn't give a shit though. Some decent snows and a limited slip will get you through nearly anything.

First time posting here.
I recently purchased a 98 Oldsmobile aurora for 1000 bucks. It ran like shit on the 100 mile drive back but made it.
~120k miles on it. Tires looked brand new. Found a receipt for a recent (2 months ago) oil change in the trunk (wal-mart, rofl)
Got it home and replaced the spark plugs. pic related. They looked about 50k miles overdue. One of the coil packs had a rusty nipple, im thinking it needs a set of plug wires and ill replace that coil pack. Just cleaned the shit off the nipple for now. severe pitting on it.
Anyone else here get a similar steal of a deal on a car with shit teir maintenance?

Ok, a few years, they let 'em have a Fox Body... yeah yeah the oooold Cougar.... But why didn't Ford let Mercury or Lincoln have Mustang clones?
Makes sense to have the raw brute force MUSTANG, and then a more "refined" tech-y luxury-y upscale version.

Why doesn't Ford use the mustang platform for anything other than the Mustang? they made it their Global RWD platform killing off the falcon so why not use it to give Lincoln RWD 4/2 door luxury performance cars. or maybe revive the falcon as the 4-door mustang. or try to make a more lightweight RWD car. fuck do something with it other than using it for the mustang only.

Why would you choose a 2JZGTE/RB26DETT engine, or heaven forbid, stick with a 13B-REW rotary engine over an LS swap?

For one, a 2JZ can be made to produce more power than an LS with much less money.
As for the FD, it's because the FD is a rotary car. It's part of its appeal. It's a good car but its chassis is nothing to write home about. It's the Wanker that sets it apart and give it the unique traits that rotary cars have.
