Forgot to type my response kek it's been a long day.
Mine has been wonderful, it's a 2016 GTI and it's been nothing but splendid. It handles well, stock acceleration is nice, and the interior is comfy af. Only issues it's given me in the 10,000miles I've owned it is the infotainment center having a few bugs here and there and the clutch pedal is squeaky when it's cold.
I beat the absolute shit out of it as I deliver pizza in it on my off days.. It sees redline everyday multiple times a day.
Great cars, nice and comfy for their price range. I just fucking hate the amount of torx screws that are one these kek.
had an 05 Golf til it was wrecked two years ago, currently own a 12 Jetta
I never had an issue with the Golf, fun to drive and everyone loved riding in it. Maintenance-wise, pretty cheap, most expensive part was the ignition wires. Never left me stranded, never gave me issues, never had a complaint
the Jetta I've owned for less than a year, but I love it so far. Maintenance is relatively cheap, takes a bit more to fill up the tank, but no complaints as of yet
what do you want to know?
Plz help.

Or
2001 h6 outback in decent condition? (370k km)
Need a comfortable ride that is relative high off the ground (I have lower back issues from construction )
Need it as a winter beater.
Need reliability for the next 6 years.
Ease of working on (I love this).
Want to fit lots of shit in the back for camping / driving cross country.
I'm 30/M/balding. No racing or drifting shit.
My thoughts:
I'm a Toyota fanboy. It can be lifted pretty high.
Scoobys are nice but I know literally nothing about them.
Tyvm for your help guys!

It really depends on if you want more of an suv or more of a car
they're both quality vehicles
>>16315934
You're asking for 6 more years of reliability on a 14 and 16 year old vehicle both over 200k miles. I'm sorry but if you think that either vehicle will be trouble free, you're delusional. Out of your options you're best bet will be the 4Runner. Though you will have to deal with frozen break calipers, wheel bearings going bad, serpentine belt replacement and the dashboard cracking. Also if you get a sunroof, you must constantly clear out the drains or water will leak in.

I'm ok with all of the aforementioned work.
I'm also ok with light engine work.

Work was so slow today that I got to swap my winter tires on, put new hood supports and trunk supports in and completely re-do my exhaust to Duel exhaust with Dynaflow mufflers, then left home early

I kinda miss the dog days of summer.
I really gotta hook up my heater core.
How can I stop someone from trying to break into my car?
I don't know who it is, and I'm sick of staying awake all night waiting with my rifle
>>16320031
you're half way there
shoot them the next time they try
then they wont try again
>>16320031
>sick of staying awake all night waiting with my rifle
this man is clearly more motivated than you and will end up breaking into your car because you wanted to sleep instead of being a better man
When he comes up to the car shoot him in the legs. Be sure to affix a two liter bottle filled with water to the end of the barrel. It will create a mediocre supressor.
Then drag him back into your house and rape him. After you are done you must kill him and wrap the body in plastic film, then seal it with tape or something. Once this is done, rent one of those metal trash bins and make a bonfire. The remains will be used as ornaments for your vehicle to warn other thieves.

So you are how old?
Live in Florida?
Have a DUI
What vehicle are you trying to insure?

you were accused of both in the thread you linked, so how about some details.
So I got a newer econobox and when I coast in gear it feels like it has zero compression, this vehicle has an electronic throttle body. I also have a sports car with electronic throttle bodies, and when I coast in gear it feels just like my cable actuated motorcycle. Does the sports car close the throttle bodies to simulate real engine braking while the econobox leaves them wide open in order to achieve better fuel economy?
Don't give me nightmares like that.
>feels like
So it doesn't slow down when engine braking down a hill at all?
>>16319958
and also... what transmission is in the econobox?

That's the best you've got?
That's too brazilian for something sold in first world countries.
So I'm a student who's looking for a used car for about 5.000€.
The most important factors are:
>Durability
I'm unable to fix my car by myself and too poor to afford regular visits to the mechanic.
>Comfortability
I drive up to 1.000km/month so I want the interior to be comfy and to have some quality (the plastic in my current car is making all kinds of noises and it's infuriating)
>power
I'm not looking for a beast, but I can't stand the 60hp on my opel corsa. It should have around 100-130 hp
My pic is a collection of cars that I find interesting, feel free to judge my choices and/or to add your own suggestions.
>ancient 2000 avensis
>5000 euros
Lmao, what fucking shithole is that?
These things go for like 500 quid here.

Oh yeah?
Well, back in MY day, we had these round black things called WHEELS!!! And they went round and round, and we had to change these damn things every few years. Most of these things we called 'cars' usually had 4 of them.. but a few people liked to use only 2 wheels. That's right kid, we actually touched the ground with these things, and it was all bumpy and slippery when it rained... or snowed. That white cold stuff you see in the history books? Yeah, we had that too. Boy could that stuff be a real bother! Yeah, we didn't have no 'hovercrafts' back then.
And we didn't have no batteries or hydrogen tanks either, nuh uh! We had this stuff called 'gas', or 'petrol', as the United States of Eurabia calls it, back when it was formally known as 'Europe'. We had to physically put the stuff inside our car, and boy oh boy did it stink to high heaven! So much so that those damn niggers over in Australia liked to sniff it.
Anyway kid, thats enough about me.. go see your grandma, she needs some help baking again.
