I understand most (if not all) of the twin-clutch transmissions are faster in almost all regards compared to a traditional manual, but why not at least have the manual option?

Can we talk for a minute about FCA seemingly being on a crash course with disaster? Sergio's five year plan was very obviously complete bullshit with several cars being vaporware and updates to existing cars being pushed back for years. The company is 7.5 billion in debt and massive amounts of R&D money were spent on supposedly integral cars like the Dart and 200 that have both been shelved in pretty much no time in favor of high margin vehicles that will help them pay off their massive debt, a strategy that has been disastrous before (AMC). Even the kind of vehicles that they align perfectly with their strategy like the Grand Wagoneer is getting delayed, probably because they literally just don't have the capital to build it. I don't see how FCA can last more than a few years in it's current state.

just had my first accident /o/
it wasnt even a big crash, went 65 mph on the highway but it was very busy, dark and the road was wet. the car in front of the car i was behind randomly slammed in the brakes, the car in front of my could brake in time but I was extremly tired and may not have left enough space not expecting something like that. So I couldnt slow down fast enough and ran into it.
nobody got hurt, other car just has a few scratches, but mine is totaled.
now i dont even want to drive again. watching wemb compilations, any clip containing driving gives me anxiety.
anyone else who had to get through that? how did you cope
