This. My parents bought me my first car. Made sure to buy me something newer and safe that I didn't have a choice on then told me I was paying for the full coverage insurance when I barely made above minimum wage. Great car('00 Civic) that I drove for many years but the first couple years were hell just affording to keep it on the road. Would of rather of had a half way decent old car as a starter that was in my price range.

Id expect more problems if it was the ecu. The engine runs fine, no misfires, its not running rich or anything, and it starts fine without hesitation.
The grounds in the engine bay look a tad corroded. When its not 20 degrees and gusting at 30mph ill try to clean them and see if anything improves.

if it still has the 13B it needs to be swapped

if its already been swapped just make sure it was done properly and you should be good to go

from what i have been reading they "fixed"it in either 2015 or 2014. But the way their dct is built it doesnt shift smoothly, its clunky even when working properly. I dont understand why Ford after all these years still cant figure out how to build a proper transmission. Ive been thinking about getting one of these and I am not worried about the tranny if that help you out any.
