Anyone here using a dash cam? Thinking about getting one for the front and rear of the car, but I have my doubts they'll ever actually be useful.
Good investment or waste of money?

You be the judge.
the only question would be:
are you a russian?
>>16380329
Nope.
I've had two accidents, one a hit and run, the other a lady drove into the side of my car at an intersection. Neither one had fault questioned, hit and run was covered by "uninsured motorist" coverage, other persons insurance paid out when the lady hit me without any questions.
I just don't see how having a dash cam would have helped me in either situation, and at $400 for a decent set of two, it's a spendy investment for something that may or may not ever serve a purpose.
On the other hand, there are a lot of idiots around, which is why I'm probably going to end up getting one anyway.
How will Mazda improve the rotary for this car?
It will never get made.
why would they improve it? they got their rolling concept car, thats all they wanted. theyve already said theyre not making a rotary sports car.

Throw away the terrible European engine and trans, LS1 swap, stiffen up the suspension.
I now have something that's quick, comfy, and looks good.
It's ironic that we spend most of our time perfecting the exterior looks of our cars while the interior, where we spend most of our time, is neglected. What are some cool interior mods for cars? I want to drive a portable hotel.
I am not sure if you would consider this an 'interior mod' but one of the biggest differences I find among luxury car brands and econoboxes is the suspension. Driving over some manhole covers feels like you're gliding on a cloud in a Benz AMG but feels like a massive pothole in my Mazda3
>>16378211
well I guess it would count since it affects the interior
what specific parts of the suspension would you say are superior in the Benz?
>>16378188
Interior mods?
most people go meme led lighting but i like the softness of globes for interior lighting
Gotta do my headliner its the only 'mod' i do besides headunit in all of my cars

pick one. It's a cool car and quick for sure, but attractive is not a word I would use to describe it.

fuck off Alphonse. The Canadian car market is slightly different from the American one the sticky uses.

He likes the boxy look, it's why I put it in quotation marks.
Some 3rd generation Mazda 3s have popped up for sale and the prices are tempting for a nearly new car. What is the long term reliability for these cars? Been on sale since 2013 so a few must have enough miles for there to be some verdict. I heard bad things about the Mazda Connect infotainment system but not much else. I love the looks and handling characteristics already.
>>16373377
They are very reliable. My family has owned 3 Mazdas from different gens and they were all flawless for 100k miles+.
Yea their good cars. Their skyactiv engines are very reliable and give you good fuel economy with a naturally aspirated engine when every other company is resorting to cheaply turboing cars.

Dawg, if you don't have a left leg then you're trying your damndest.
You so /o/, bro.
There are plenty of people here who are /o/ that don't even have a vehicle. It's not about what you drive it's about what's in your heart. My heart runs on 2 stroke but I'm sure you are fine with something else.
