Good deal? Is this a shitbox?
I want a sedan that will handle well in the snow that isn't a Lesbaru or a shitbox that'll need a ton of repair work.

So I'm trying to hook up the new stereo in my car that I got for Christmas. The interior lights go out along with my clock as I'm cutting off the old stereo harness. Come to find out it's the 12v live wire that I cut. Last person who wired the system did a shit job so I went from wire to wire with a 9v battery to figure out which speaker was what. Also used it to find my positives and negatives. I'm not getting any power from my 12v always live now but my ignition power is working fine. I can touch the two together when the car is getting power and it'll complete the circuit. Any advice from /o
Never cut wiring. Always spend a few bucks for an adapter harness.
You have to cut it so you can put the adapter harness in you dillweed.
>>16385284
Nah, you can cut wiring, just know what the fuck you're doing and use connectors that are easily available when joining them.
Best regards did electronic work on commercial vehicles.
Why do people like the "giant wheels wrapped in rubber bands" look so much?
People are stupid, it's a common theme that people only spot when over 25.
it looks better than offroad tires
problem is you have to lower the car too
It's a meme from their childhood.
Unfortunately it's such a thing now that it's hard to de-spec wheels down to reasonable sidewall sizes for durability / ride / safety.
I also blame niggers.
What is the LOWEST trim you would ever consider buying of the modern murrican muscle cars?
I'll start:
Challenger Hellcat
Mustang GT350
Camaro 2SS
>modern murrican muscle cars
modern muscle doesnt exist
>>16385179
What's the point of this thread if you're going to say that?
R/T
GT
SS
The hellcat is cool but it got boring after a while (neighbor has it). It's just so inconvenient. I'd like it, and the 350 too, but again what's the point of this thread.
"What's the cheapest car you'd buy?"
"The highest spec one"
Focus ST or go straight for the RS.
How are you even cross shopping them? They're like 15k apart.
RS > Fiesta ST > Focus ST
If you can justify 50k for a fucking focus, go for the RS.
The st however is a fine car as well.
>>16385145
You are wrong and here is why.
Why are USED cars sold by dealerships taxed by the government? It's fucking bullshit. Where I live, every time a car transfers title the buyer pays a 13% tax to the state. If it changes hands a few times this can rack up to more than the original cost of the vehicle
>his country taxes private parties for transfers of goods
Good goys.
>>16384810
Onterrible? I was literally just complaining about that. Isn't it supposed to be a value added tax? I wonder if anyone has contested it in court on those grounds.
>>16384826
The only exceptions are transferring the vehicle to a close family member as a gift, or if you are a qualifying diplomat or Status Indian
How bad do you guys say this looks? Can it be fixed? And when would it start fucking me over? It's an 08 FJ Cruiser
>Are you Americans too dumb to understand it?
>Are you Americans too poor to participate in it successfully?
>Are you Americans too classless to appreciate it?
>Are you Americans too arrogant and ignorant to play nice with the rest of the world?
Americans are genetically incapable of understanding the concept of a right turn.
no,only the expensive sports networks run it. Us burgertards are too azy o payforthe channel that only runs darts bowling and f1. I watch it tho.

Any automatic sports car if you aren't disabled
V6 Camaro.
Say something nice about this car that I own myself. It can't be just a meme car.
>>16382223
The car itself is alright. Not great, but alright. The owners are all self-important assholes who love to rub it in your face about emissions and how it's going to save the planet (it isn't).

that isn't racing you fucking child
Drag racing. It's hours of bone shaking, loud and powerful cars that are usually stupid fast.
And it's pretty cheap to do and attend
So I just got a 2012 Mazda 3, and since I deliver I'd really like a back up camera. OEM parts for a screen and camera don't really exist for this year afaik, so I've been looking at 3rd party solutions.
The Eonon GA6163F on paper looks great, but apparently has several very serious problems.
Which leaves me looking at double DIN head units. Are there any that are particularly compatible out of the box with Mazdas? I've also been looking into Android Auto compatability, but it doesn't look like there are currently any in existence that support the wifi pairing instead of just USB, which is a deal breaker when I get in/out of my car almost 100 times a night.
Or are there just any models that you'd particularly suggest?
>>16381618
why do you need a backup cam? just git gud.
>>16381746
I am, been doing this game for years. Its always good to have more tools than less available.
>>16381761
not if you have to hack your dash.
why don't I see more people driving mustangs? they're affordable at $10k
why do I see so many shitty boring sedans instead of cars like this?
>boring sedans
some people need 4 doors I guess
>>16375728
because buy and large most people own shitty appliance cars as opposed to sports cars
>>16375728
Because not everyone is a boy racer and prefer having more cargo space and better fuel economy.
Hey /o/ I got some free gold brembos from work. I work at a junkyard, the biggest in the US. Do any of you guys know what car comes with oem gold brembos? I know for a fact they didn't come from a subaru wrx sti. And that's the only car I know that has them
>>16385558
350z/g35 I will buy them from you
>>16385579
