I have to scrap my car tomorrow. Please, help me /o/. I Cannon deal with this feeling, it too much for me. I cant believe i could get so attached to a car. Its my first one ive ever had, and it sucks so much to see it go. I literally cant stop myself from crying

how do you guys feel about this car? are you disappointed that it didn't turn out to be 4WD or that it didn't have a V12? or are you proud that it held the guinness world record for fastest standard production car?

What's up, /o/...I need your advice

A week ago my neighbor hit my car. They happen to be a tow truck company. When they hit my car, they let me know and acknowledged their fault. However, they were trying really hard to have me let them fix the car at their own body shop, and to avoid insurance.
Not being aware of my options at the scene, I take some time to think about it. The next day I let the owner know that I would prefer to fix the car on my own terms and to go through their insurance. He still refuses to give me his insurance info. He said he wants me to get an estimate at a body shop and that he will write a check to the shop.
It's been 6 days since I gave him the estimate and I have yet to hear anything back. The owner keeps hiding and seems intent on dragging things out.

What the hell can I do? My insurance keeps telling me there's nothing they can do since I don't have full coverage, and that I'll have to go to small claims. But before I do all this, isn't a person at fault legally obligated to provide their insurance info? Let alone a fucking towing company? Can I still call the cops? I wanted to avoid that since we're neighbors, but I'm starting to regret not doing so when it happened.

I appreciate any advice...I'm in CA.

I’m a 18 year old American JDM enthusiast (ricer for you gaijins). I have seen every Initial D episode, and spend my days perfecting my cars tuning and playing superior Japanese games. (Touge no Densetsu, Initial D Arcade Stage)

I race with my AE86 every day, this superior Japanese automobile can beat any pigfat american muscle car, and is vastly superior to any other car on earth. I earned my drivers license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.

I speak Japanese fluently, both the Itsuki Takeuchi and Shingo Shoji dialects, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about touge racing and bushido code, which I follow 100%

When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Gunma to attack the corners of Mount Akina. I hope I can become a member of the Speed Stars one day!

I own several shoshinsha marks, which I keep on the back of my AE86. I want to get used to having them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I always rev at people on the touge, but rarely does anyone manage to respond with anything other than a laugh.

Thinking of going Swedish for my next vehicle. I love the aesthetic of Saabs, and the look of the S-series Volvos, but which car is more affordable to maintain? I'll be looking at vehicles selling for $5000 or less in the US.

For some reason I have the idea in my head that Saab is generally going to be more expensive to service and more likely to break down, is this even remotely true?
And which models are the best at this price overall, not necessarily highest end or fastest.

The vw's interior is a cheap piece of shit, the veloster is apparently costly to maintain, the tc won't budge on its price (and holy shit the body is much bigger than 1st gen), and I haven't seen the frs yet.

Any suggestions relating to reliability, ease of diy repairs, personal experience?

So now that info on the new mustang has been released, i think most of us can agree brighter colors makes it look like it has downs. But what about power figures?

Ferd will most likely bring the Eco boost numbers closer to the RS, but who cares about that? The V8 will race DI and a 12:1 compression ratio. What power figures can we expect? with the camaro at 455 i want to say that we can expect it somewhere in the 460s

What went so right? While I have no use for an automatic, FWD sedan, I've rented these a few times and these are actually good cars regardless of what you think of the rest of Chevy's lineup or GM in general. Has really good steering feel, comfortable ass leather sets in the LTZ (cloth ones are decent too), nice-looking, simple interior that isn't particularly lacking etc.

Could benefit from RWD and the brake pedal is too far forwards (or the gas is too far back) though
