Can someone explain why are they cost upward of 50k$?!I know about muh legendary reliability,muh versatility,muh easy to fix,muh ak-47 of cars.But c'mon,it should cost around 15k-20k$ not 50k$!

This guy got real buttmad when he saw me take a pic of his car instead of taking it as a compliment like a normal person. Got all autistic about how he didn't want it on social media so it didn't get stolen, so I figured he'd probably see it here, especially with that rainbow dash on the tow hook. If you don't want your vehicle to attract attention or be likely to get stolen, a modified s13 with a loud exhaust, bodykit, and a bunch of stickers is probably not for you.

Location: CO, USA
Current car: 2001 Altima (7yrs old for me).
Age: 25
Budget: ~$10-15k USD

I'm not really interested in paying a premium for a new car or for the upkeep on a luxury brand. I will likely negotiate with cash as I will have nearly 15k saved this month, but I am considering financing and investing a good chunk of the savings.

Important to me:

* Reliability
* FWD/AWD
* Manual
* 30+ MPG
* Fun to drive

I'm not really planning on modding the car or anything but do plan on maintaining simple things (oil, plugs, lights, simple replacements).

Cars I'm looking at:

* 12-14 Civic Si
* 14/15 CR-Z
* GTI
* Scion Mi
* Focus/Fiesta ST
* 15/16 Fit (planning on a decent amount of highway driving so this may not be a good option)

Any other cars I should be looking at or any specific trims I didn't mention? I've looked for a lot of Subarus, but they all are modded to hell and overpriced; I also can't find much I'm interested from Nissan. I'm having trouble finding a good site to view all the differences between the various trims and years (currently using autotrader and caranddriver).

Any input is appreciated.

Apparently, it was quite common in Europe to for cars to be roughly the size to fit one adult, and as the small size would imply, they were incredibly unsafe and had incredibly weak, slow engines. In a way, they are less safe than motorcycles and slower to boot. So my question to you, /o/, is; can super-compact cars like pic related be viable modes of transportation? If so, what kind of changes would need to be done to make small, single-person cars viable today?

Forget about these cars existing in the US, where the average vehicle is easily 4 times the size.

Please be responsible for timing. I check VINs every 15-24 hours and sometimes there is the one guy asking """hey brah can you check this VIN ASAP imma look at the car in about an hours""""... TL;DR: Post the VIN at least a day before you plan on seeing the car. If it helps to know, I start checking from 9am-1pm California time. : ' )

Also, I'm open to suggestions for my "format", I'm thinking of removing some things or making some of them less descriptive, idk, date format (m/d/y or m/y, place of repair, etc.. mostly from the maintenance section). just to cut down on character limit. Maybe the Mod-man can do some magic? :)

Lastly, VINs from Motorcycles, Dirt Bikes, I had a VIN for a snowmobile kek don't have many or any records at all 99% of the time.

VIN that is not native to the US or Canada will not work.

VIN for cars of the whenever to 70s-79 will likely not work. 80s and up do work.
